The property

Little Timbers is a chocolate-box, 300-year-old thatched cottage situated in Blofield on the outskirts of Brundall, only a short distance from the centre of Norwich, the coast and the Norfolk Broads.

Oozing with character, Little Timbers is a wonderful place for the whole family to come together, but is equally suited for travellers seeking somewhere special to return to.

The living room is filled with warmth and charm, where you can get cosy by the electric fire on a cool winter's evening, then gather around the traditional dining table for a hearty, home-cooked meal prepared in the kitchen close by.

After a relaxing night in, choose from one of three tasteful bedrooms, one of the doubles positioned on the ground floor.

If you are looking for somewhere more enchanting, step down one step into the master suite upstairs, it is beautifully designed, overlooked by full ceiling beams, which also grace the walls for an inspiring finish.

A roll-top bath is tucked into the corner of the room and the whole layout includes a real quirky twist.

Outside, you can make the most of the lawned garden, a lovely little suntrap to gather for a barbecue or a chance to be at one with the calming surroundings.

The outside space is covered with a solid wooden gazebo with lighting for the evening.

Nearby, Brundall features a number of shops, bars and restaurant to accompany your evenings, and for much more, Norwich boasts some of the finest buildings in Britain, with two cathedrals, a Norman castle and several large houses.
