It had everything you needed and more with lots of special touches . We were welcomed like we were friends and the owners had thought of everything we might need , down to treats and even a jug of homemade lemonade. It’s in a lovely location and even had its own outside space and seating area . The owners were on hand if you needed them and they were full of information on the area etc.

  • "Just got back from a wonderful stay at the Lodge."

It is so peaceful with wildlife at your door step including deer, rabbits, birds, squirrels. The lodge was perfectly clean and everything that was needed is provided. Carol and Ron are on hand if you need anything and go out their way to help anyway possible. Our 3 Labradors throughly enjoyed their own “park” where they were able to run free on the grounds and play at their own leisure. Would come again. Cons: Can be noisy due to the RAF being so close. There is another rental property on this land, so land is shared with them and the owners, which can be hard with dogs barking. The property adjoins the owners property, divided by a small fence, so not much privacy in the garden of the lodge.

Thank you for your feedback i was a bit perplexed to say the least i know your 3 dogs barked most of the time day and night as the patio doors were open all the time due to the hot weather i never once complained ...one evening the dogs were barking frantically for over 30 minutes so i came out and asked if everything was ok due to you being wheelchair band i feared you might have had an accident i only asked if everything was alright and as for other guests the properties are far apart and not over looking each other in 4 acres of parkland grounds Property Owner

They were always there for a chat which was nice. The lodge! what can I say was everything that we expected and more. 10/10 for cleanliness, very well laid out with a beautiful kitchen to work in. A living room to sit back and relax in. The lodge also had it's own private garden so if you have a pet like we have then nothing to worry about if your furry friend like to roam off. In addition the lodge is connected to the main house which is situated in a good few acres of lovely grounds. Overall we were made to feel at home during our stay and would not hesitate to go back if we were not moving to Brandon. The lodge is just perfect and a minutes walk from the high street so everything ie Tesco, Aldi, BP garage, pubs are not far, and there are lots of takeaway food outlets which are doted along the high street plus more. Brandon itself had a Tesco and an Aldi if you wanted to buy essentials and the pubs and takeaways were all within a short walk. We had a couple of bevy’s sitting outside the Flintknappers Arms as it was April and still only outside drinking and dining allowed, we also had Chinese, Indian and fish and chips takeaway but also cooked as well. The Lodge was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The owners Carole and Ron lived next door in the old rectory and were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. We had a very safe enclosed patio garden which was lovely for us and the dog but the jewel in the crown was having access to Carole and Ron’s extensive garden/grounds which we all loved especially the dog and where we saw an abundance of wildlife visiting even deer. We would definitely go back without a moments hesitation and if this is fully booked have a look at The Retreat their other property which is in their grounds.
