  • "2nd visit to Windy Ridge , with our grandchildren , they love it ."

Excellent position by the sand dunes and sea . Lovely large garden to play in . Excellent facilities in the house , and easy to clean . Everything has been thought out , even a tap outside for sandy feet . Only draw back , floor not level in the living room , but just need to remember the step !!! Have booked again for next year

  • "From the moment we seen Windy Ridge we fell in love with this property."

The house is cosy, modern and full with anything that you can think of for a great stay, fast Wi-Fi, magazines, books, games and a well stocked kitchen with any utensil you may require for your stay. The master bedroom is huge with an Emma mattress and good quality bed sheets, if you listen carefully you can hear the sea from this room. All other rooms were comfortable and had their own TV. The garden is huge and has a shed with some outdoor games inside and storage for body boards, bikes and sandy shoes. We spotted a family of hares, various birds and a deer during our stay all from the comfort of the sofa that looks out to the garden. The garden also has a bench looking out to the sea where we spotted some seals swimming. We spent most mornings and evenings on the bench watching the sun rise and set. If you are looking for a tranquil space to stay, with good walks and that is in a good position to visit coastal villages this is it!

  • "Lovely comfortable beds & furniture plenty of utensils, heating hit and miss."

We saw seals for seating in sand dunes and loved the roar of the waves. I agree the master room needs an ensuite even if only a toilet. Another easy thing to change no plugs are close enough to a mirror for drying hair we needed to buy a 3 metre extension lead, either buy a couple or move mirrors FINALLY need clarification as you when at first building on left DON'T TURN INTO BEACH ROAD. It's a slight turn to left then right still on church lane and you can see a big metal gate, head for this straight go passed the metal sign the road stops at the gate the cottage is on the right side of this road. Would we stay again absolutely pity weather wasn't good so will be back in warmer weather. Ps the extraction fan outlet needs securing somehow as constantly banging

  • "We loved it, peace and quiet very restful."

Lovely walks beside the sea. The property is done to a very high standard and well equipped for all your needs. Although for us it was perfect an extra toilet could be added if there are 6 people staying there. Loved loved loved the bench seat looking out to sea from the garden.

  • "We were really happy with our stay at this property."

With the help of the aerial map provided by the owner it was not too difficult to find. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and very well equipped with good bedding and nice towels. Maybe, if there are several people sharing the property, the only one bathroom could be a drawback but this did not affect us. We do hope to visit again in the future. It is situated very close to the beach which provided fantastic walks.

  • "Well equipped house, full kitchen to cook meals, comfy beds and sofa."

Also had garden chairs to enjoy on the patio. Very close to the sea and in a great location to explore the area. Even though it was September we were able to paddle every day. Good pubs a short drive away and a cafe in walking distance along the beach, Smallsticks. Highly recommended.

  • "From the moment we arrived we loved Windy Ridge ."

So bright , clean and comfortable . Everything we needed was on hand and we had a wonderful week with our grandchildren . Plenty of garden to play in. Beautiful views from the sand dunes , and easy access to the beach , with a well Positioned outside tap to wash sandy feet . Our friends all loved it , and one family , like us has , already booked for next year . The house was very well equipped , with washing machine and dish washer , and very spacious fridge . For us the outside shed was a bonus , to store bikes , body boards etc .

  • "We stayed at Windy Ridge for two weeks."

The property is in it’s own grounds of one acre, is quiet and very close to the beach. Lovely walk beside the sea to Cart Gap where the lifeboat station is and Smallsticks cafe which serves fantastic food. The property is spacious, well equipped and clean to a high standard. We would thoroughly recommend Windy Ridge.

  • "Brilliant property in a fantastic location right near the sea."

Not much to do in the immediate area except relax and walk the beach - perfect for what we wanted. Lots to do, however, within a few miles drive. The owner provided some good local guidance. We found mobile phone reception in the property was very poor, but you only had to walk a few yards up the road to get a decent signal. One very pleasant surprise was the excellent internet connection and very good Smart TVs in the lounge and each bedroom. As the weather was varied during our stay in the last week of October, the entertainment was very welcome. We slept in the king bedroom and it was very comfortable with an Emma mattress.

  • "We had an excellent stay at Windyridge."

There were a few teething problems but that’s to be expected from a newly refurbished property. Location is great - you can fall asleep listening to the sounds of the waves crashing just on the other side of the dunes. We even saw seals in the sea and on the beach. So easy to get to the front and walk in either direction. We walked to Happisburgh and back one day and it’s very easy. The house itself is really comfortable and very well equipped. Literally the only suggestion we would have is that it would be useful to add some hooks to the backs of bedroom and bathroom doors for towels, etc.
