There are a number of local attractions in the area, including Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, the Caister Castle Motor Museum, National Trust properties and the Norfolk Broads, and further afield is the historic city of Norwich.

Nearby, Great Yarmouth offers family fun-filled days with candyfloss stalls, amusement arcades, funfair rides, sea life sanctuary, Esplanade gardens, theatre, pitch-and-putt, bowls, golfing, indoor swimming pool and good shopping facilities including a traditional market.
