The property

In an endearing location on the outskirts of Stalham is a beautifully appointed holiday home, ideal for a family getaway to Norfolk.

Southbank welcomes you into the popular Burton's Mill development at Stalham Staithe, a quiet residential area just a short walk away from the sparkling River Ant.

Entry is gained via a quaint front patio which offers a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee on a summer's morning, whilst a rear enclosed garden can be used for a spot of alfresco dining.

The ground floor houses a spacious kitchen/diner with a fantastic choice of contemporary amenities to cook up your meals, whilst the dining table awaits for evening dinner parties and nights of board games over a bottle of wine.

Continuing to impress is a homely sitting room, a sociable space to gather with your loved ones for a family film night in front of the Smart TV as you cuddle up on one of the plush sofas.

Completing this floor is a handy cloakroom, whilst the family bathroom rests upstairs, featuring a sumptuous bath for an evening of bubbles, as well as a refreshing overhead shower.

Drift off to a night's refreshing embrace in one of the charming bedrooms, comprising a double, a bunk room and a king-size which benefits from an en-suite walk-in shower room and a lovely Juliette balcony with views of the surrounding town and far-reaching river.

Take a leisurely stroll and venture into the local town of Stalham, home to a plethora of shops and supermarkets where you can stock up on supplies, as well as a rich choice of dining, pubs, and takeaways when you fancy a night away from the kitchen.

Other local attractions include the East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden, Radar Museum, the Museum of the Broads, and a beautiful marina where you can hire a canoe from the exciting boat yard and journey along the glistening River Art.

Spend a day in the tranquil seaside village of Waxham, relaxing on the sandy front of Waxham Beach, or venture over to Cromer to find another glorious beach, a golf course, and the Amazona Zoo.

Discover local history at a host of fascinating attractions such as Hoveton Hall which dates back to the 9th century, or find adventure at Hickling Broad and Marshes with unique wildlife, boat tours and waterside trails.

More fun awaits at Wroxham Barns, BeWILDerwood Norfolk theme park, and at Great Yarmouth seaside resort further afield.

With so much of the Norfolk Broads and coastline to explore, Southbank is the ideal base for a relaxing escape.

About the location

STALHAM

Wroxham 8 miles; Norwich 15 miles; Great Yarmouth 17 miles.

The market town of Stalham, with its well-stocked high street with a good range of shops and eateries, is a typical North Norfolk town. There is a small market which comes to the town on Tuesdays and a farmers’ market on every other Saturday, as well as regular sales in the town hall. Stalham is one of the major starting points of Norfolk Broads boating holidays and a museum to give you an insight in to the Broadland environment is a must. Just a few miles inland from fantastic beaches, this is a perfect base for exploring the Norfolk Broads and coastline.
