Coney Weston is a small, rural village in Suffolk and has a church, a playground and a pub at its heart. Just a short drive from the nearest town of Thetford is Thetford Forest, Britain's largest lowland pine forest with nature reserve and the Peddars Way National Trail. Families, walkers and cyclists will enjoy High Lodge Forest Centre with its excellent trails for all abilities and Squirrel Maze for the children. For the more adventurous try Go Trax or the high rope course of Go Ape, or just relax in the café with gift shop. Not to be missed is Lynford Arboretum and Lakes, which is wonderful at any time of the year. Be sure to visit the popular market town of Diss, with buildings that offer examples of gothic architecture. The market place is the hub of the town, which is overlooked by its beautiful 13th century church. At the bottom of the town is Diss Mere, a 6-acre lake with a fountain that runs all day, along with its adjacent park where you can relax while watching the world pass you by, making this a truly idyllic location.
