  • "This was the best equipped and homeliest self catering accommodation we have stayed in."

There was a lovely hamper of goodies, and the owner phoning before we arrived to check if we needed anything and give advice on local dog walks was such a thoughtful touch.

  • "The cottage was comfortable and tastefully furnished."

Everything was there if you needed it. I don't go on holiday to cook but if you wanted to self cater, all the equipment and basic food stuffs were there. The owners obviously take pride in the cottage and try to anticipate every need.

  • "Such a lovely property."

Clean, well maintained, nicely decorated. The owner contacted us early on and was very responsive when we needed to reach out. 20 minutes from Great Yarmouth, which has loads to do. We will be returning to this property.

  • "A smart, tidy and well looked after property that is well worth a visit."

Beautifully clean and contained a hamper full of goodies that was very well received upon our arrival. The property is only a few minutes walk from the sea, which was ideal for us as it made it very easy for dog walks. The walk to the beach is down some steep steps and the tide tends to come right in so you have to time it right to make use of the beach. There are three good choices for a nice evening meal, including the pub on the opposite side of the road, the bar that is on the site, and the Chinese takeaway. These combined really give this property plenty of choice if you don’t want to cook but don’t want to go to far to get a nice meal. I recommend this property

  • "The property was extremely clean and is very well maintained."

Lovely shower, which I find so important. The bed, in the main room, was very comfortable, something you don’t always get. The owners have thought of everything you might need. There is a lovely pub over the road which serves very good food and it also has a convenience store. There was a welcome basket and milk in the fridge, tea and coffee. Overall a lovely stay in a really nice area. Thanks.

  • "A beautiful little dwelling right by the sea."

Loved the little welcome basket which included some biscuits and snacks and drinks which was needed after long journey there. The property was clean and very comfortable and the beds were like new. The property is a small drive from Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth and other places of interest. Inside the property was lots of utensils and amenities that you may need and although some of the mod cons on the oven/microwave were a little complicated, the welcome folder came with everything I need for our stay, including manual instructions for the electronics! Would recommend!

  • "One of the very best properties we've stayed in!"

Very well equipped and spotlessly clean! The owners have thought of everything that can make your stay so perfect. Corton itself is ideally situated, being close to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft and, more local attractions like Corton Woods which our dog loved.

  • "We had a lovely few days here, comfy bed, very clean and warm, welcome hamper and board games available were great, the pool was warm and clean and surrounding beaches were empty and beautiful."

Really dog friendly, the on site bar was nice and the pub opposite was great. My husband has coeliac and they made him a great gluten free fish and chips. A really quiet location - just what we needed for a few days away of family time. Thanks so much, we’ll be back :)

  • "Very clean property, loved the extra touch with the welcome basket even included doggie biscuits, swimming pool on site was good, only ever few people in there and quiet, food at on site pub was good, only downfall was white horse pub across road, food not up to standard."

Great Yarmouth short ride in car, great day out. Overall had a great stay, could not fault the property or the holiday site. Would definitely go again.

Thanks for the feedback. I am sorry to learn of the feedback at the White Horse and will pass this on to the owners. The pub is nothing to do with our property or the park. Property Owner

The site itself was pleasingly quiet despite being busy. We really liked the close proximity to walks and access to the lovely beach (thank you for the guidance Toby) ~ our little border thoroughly enjoyed. Having treats for him was a lovely touch. The pub across the road was friendly with good local beers and tasty food. The Chinese takeaway being so close was a bonus, although we didn't take advantage. - maybe next time!
