  • "Lovely size cottage, well stocked kitchen and nice bathroom."

Instructions for hob/cooker would be helpful, we had problems using. Few minor issues, that were sorted very quickly, after contacting owner, thank you Mark for that. Our week went by very quickly, nice location for travelling the top left of Norfolk, variety of things to do and see, easy road links. Also nice garden to sit out in if you wish. Bit of road noise, but being out during the day it didn't really affect us. A very enjoyable holiday

  • "The cottage was lovely from the outside, but we were very surprised by the state of the carpet, dirty cloths in sink ."

Dirty glasses cracked mugs and grubby surfaces. The cabinet in bathroom was very dirty inside as was the radiator. Every part of cottage needed a good clean.we bought towels for our own use didn't fancy using the ones supplied. We were disappointed as we have stayed in Sykes Cottages before and had no complaints.

We are sorry you felt disappointed by your stay. We have visited the property ourselves this weekend and found it to be in a gods state of cleanliness. The bathroom cabinet has been replaced. The two mugs that have acquired small chips have been removed. The glasses were clean and the small stain on the carpet has been removed. We really don’t understand the issue with the towels as they are laundered professionally after every letting. We will be going ahead with our planned redecoration programme at the end of this month and in October Thank you for your feedback Property Owner
