It was well equipped with everything you could need for a holiday stay and the barn was extremely useful for storing our bicycles. The village was attractive and the property, although right on the road, was not affected by traffic noise as it was not a very busy route. Parking was on the street, but we always got a space apart from one day when we returned at the time parents were collecting children at the small school opposite. However, a space became free as soon as the school traffic dispersed. There is so much to see and do in the area whether you are a walker, love the sea and rivers, or are interested in museums, castles and stately homes. Everything is within easy reach. The only downside for us was the Friday changeover day as the traffic is always more difficult on that day. A Saturday changeover would have been preferable. However, all in all a great stay in a lovely property.
