  • "Very comfortable and warm."

A well equipped property, in a good location to explore Norfolk and Norwich. The host was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and keen to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

  • "Firstly “The Annex” is in a great location, everything we needed was in the local area."

If you do decide to explore Norwich City centre, that’s also very close, about a 10 minute drive away. Jeff and Tanya provide all you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The welcome hamper was much appreciated and even included a bottle of wine and fresh eggs from the little ladies who live in the garden. Ah yes the garden, absolutely fantastic, deer, birds, reptiles, squirrels, water features, and about 3 acres in total to explore. Lots of seating areas, tranquillity with a capital T. If you can drag yourself away, superb garden centre minutes away, easy access to the coast about 30/40 minute drive, access to The Broads at Wroxham about the same, the roads are delightful to drive. Lots of tourist information is provided along with eateries, bus services if required, just about everything. Perfect hosts, enjoyed our many chats with Jeff in particular, it was very much like visiting old friends.

  • "Short but sweet and a surprise, since a phone call from Jeff revealed we had accidentally booked the wrong week."

Jeff and Tetyana were very accommodating in all sorts of ways – thank you. A thoughtful hamper which included their own freshly grown tomatoes and eggs from their chickens, (also wine, bread, milk and butter). The accommodation was lovely. There is no separate lounge, but chairs to watch the TV in the bedroom. The TV only has terrestrial channels but for streaming we had a laptop with a 3m HDMI cable, plugged into the TV, which is quite high on the wall. Overall, the annex is small, generally comfortable, well equipped and a good base. The garden is huge and beautiful. We made the most of the three nights we were there, with cycle ride to see the seals, a walk and visit to Norwich.

  • "On arrival the owner, Jeff, was there to greet us and gave us a comprehensive guide around the accommodation."

A welcome pack was provided which came in very handy indeed. Jeff also showed us around his huge garden and informed us that we were welcome to use it as if it was our own. The rooms were very, very clean indeed and the bed extremely comfortable. All in all the stay was a welcome break and the accommodation is first class. Thank you Jeff and Tetyana.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean, we had a truly relaxing break. Our hosts couldn’t do enough for us, with little touches like fresh flowers on the dining table, bathrobes and slippers, complimentary toiletries and a welcome pack of bread, butter, milk, red wine and fresh eggs from their own “little ladies” in the garden! We didn’t want our holiday to end.

We were pleased with all the amenities and the comfort of the place, and the hosts were very welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to do our cooking, and the hosts provided a lovely welcome hamper with wine, bread, milk, and eggs. The bedroom had an excellent array of shelving and closet space for the two of us and many lighting options. The detailed notes and maps of links and nearby locations of interest that were provided were handy as we traveled around the area by foot/bus. The property is right near a direct bust route to Norwich. The garden was expansive and great fun to explore; I loved the monkey puzzle tree, all the hidden seating nooks, and, of course, visiting the ex-battery rescue hens.
