  • "This cottage, which is more like a small bungalow is exceptional."

The owners who live next door are really nice and great care has gone into making our stay a very happy one. Pond Cottage is very well equipped and really clean and above all comfortable. There is a pretty little garden with seating over looking a pond,. This is the best holiday let that we have ever stayed in and will definitely reccomend this letting. Although our stay was a winter one we still found plenty of places to visit would imagine that it would be even better in Spring and Summer. Our 2 pets were very happy here too.

Friendly helpful owners live next door. Tucked away but close to A12 and easy access to Lowestoft. Kessingland, Southwold, Great Yarmouth And Norwich. Nice enclosed garden at the front, Excellent property for dogs and their owners.

  • "Pond View is a light and airy place to stay, with a secure garden for small dogs."

The owners in the adjacent property are welcoming and helpful and provide an amazing welcome hamper. It’s possible to walk to the beach and from there walk to Lowestoft or Kessingland, even Southwold if you feel inclined. All the local attractions are easily accessible by car as the property is off the A12. Although traffic can be heard, this is not intrusive. Seating and a lamp were erected by the large pond while we were there.

  • "The property was in an ideal location for easy access to walks along the coast line."

Or if you're feeling energetic a walk into Lowestoft. For days when we went further afield, Somerleyton House, Sizewell, Africa Alive were only a short drive away. Close proximity to supermarket, petrol station was also good.

  • "Pond View is a little gem."

Spotlessly clean and well equipped, comfy bed and with a secure garden for our two small dogs. The owners, Marian and Julian were very kind and thoughtful. The welcome basket was lovely. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment for anyone wanting peace and quiet yet within reach of all the necessary amenities.

  • "The main living area of the cottage is a conservatory and is very warm on hot days , there are fans but they just take the edge off the heat."

The welcome pack was very generous and included many items, it is a long walk to the nearest pub about 30 minutes brisk walk " the Oddfellows " which gets very busy at weekends and if you want a table its best to book. There is a retail park with a Morrisons & Aldi supermarket within 10 minutes walk on the other side of the A12 take care crossing. The Hosts were very helpfull and friendly. The cockerell crowing from 5 am every morning is quite disturbing. If you have a dog that likes chasing wildlife there are ducks and rabbits around and the front garden is not very secure.

  • "We were lucky enough to be the first people to rent at this holiday Let, so arrived to find everything bright, fresh and shiny clean."

We were greeted by the owners Julian and Marion who popped by to see if we'd got everything that we needed and to say hello. There was milk, eggs, fresh fruits, a selection of tea, coffee, biscuits as well as bathroom acutriments. So basically everything we needed to get us started for a few days .... We were here for three weeks while waiting for our house to come through, so not 'on holiday ' as such! There is TV plus Internet ....The place is very roomy, comfortable with all facilities that you could need. It is set back away from the road ( you are not aware traffic noise at all ) so what you see from your frontage is a lovely pond and green, surrounded by shrubs and wildlife. If you need shops two minutes out of the drive and you are there! Beaches are close by either by a good walk or few minutes in your car. There are many places to visit from this Base either the coast, or Norwich City, or any Castles, or maybe the Broads. So many things to do and places to go to from this very convenient holiday home....A GREAT place to stay.
