The cottage

Reepham 4 miles.

Hidden within the depths of Norfolk's peaceful rural countryside is Haveringland Hall Park, the setting for this lovely detached lodge.

This comfortable lodge sits at the edge of the park, in the arboretum area which forms part of this attractive 150-acre holiday park, with its beautiful woodlands and two fishing lakes.

The grounds are ideal for enjoying wonderful leisurely walks and watching the local wildlife in action.

This delightful lodge offers bright spacious modern accommodation, with two bedrooms and an open plan living area with French doors.

These open onto the decked veranda, with seating and views across a well-maintained grassed area with a beautiful old cedar tree and fir trees.

Alternatively, retire to the rear secluded garden overlooking the woodlands and relax with a refreshing drink.

The small attractive conservation market town of Reepham is nearby, offering shops, eateries, a Wednesday market and regular antique fairs.

From the former railway station, walkers, cyclists, and horse riders can enjoy the 21-mile Marriott's Way rural trail.

Within easy driving distance of this lodge you can explore the delights of Norfolk's varied coastline, visit the nature reserves, one of its many stately homes, or the renowned Norfolk Broads.

About the location

Norwich 13 miles; Cromer 18 miles.

The attractive and historic market town of Reepham is situated amidst beautiful countryside between the valleys of Bure and Wensum. Boasting an attractive 18th century market place and red brick Georgian buildings, Reepham offers a weekly market, a selection of shops including those selling local produce and hand-made furniture, inns, restaurants and tea shops. The Marriott's Way, a footpath of some 20 miles, can be picked up from Reepham's former railway station (now a museum and tea shop), offering walkers and cyclists a peaceful route through fields and woodland. Within driving distance are the historic city of Norwich, with its impressive cathedral and excellent shopping centre, and the charming Edwardian seaside town of Cromer, famous for its Cromer Crabs, local seafood restaurants, sandy Blue Flag beaches, Edwardian style promenades and traditional end-of-pier show held in the Pavillion Theatre. An ideal location for an enjoyable break.
