The garden was lovely and relaxing.
Kevin the owner was really helpful and friendly.
We really didn’t want to leave..!!!!! ☹️☹️☹️
It was a well needed break and we couldn’t have asked for more.

"Had a very peaceful and relaxing time at The Log Cabin my only gripe is I wished the fridge door opened the other way."
Hi,
Thank you for your positive feedback. Yes sorry about the fridge, I realised my error when I purchased it.
Will look to replace in the not too distant future.

However overall enjoyed our stay as was conveniently based and a peaceful setting.

Peaceful, cosy and well-equipped. Unfortunately there was a problem with the drains while we were there. The host was trying to get it sorted while we were there and was very helpful. Hopefully it’s now sorted

"As senior citizens we found the settee far too low and uncomfortable also the bed although it was comfortable it was very low ,it will suit younger people better I think ,the gardens were very nice and peaceful, plenty of wildlife about especially in the evenings, we found the owners very nice ,although we only saw her on arrival and departure but we had a contact number if needed, after experiencing previous properties we found the standards were not up to the expected standard that we have had in the past , I don't think we will return to the cabin again, but we will still book with Sykes next year ,we have already booked to go to Hunstanton in September, I feel that the Log cabin needs to be re-assed price wise ."

"Great little log cabin in owners garden."
Very comfortable bed and great shower. Facilities were good with most things you needed. Once we understood the heating the unit was lovely and warm!
On the negative side the garden was a nightmare for anyone with a nervous disposition-it’s very pretty but has a sunken out of use pool, full of water and with a loose cover which is rapidly filling up with water -very attractive to our dogs!

"The directions need to be a bit more detailed."
Initially directions were fine but once you go over the bridge you need to look for The Street turning on left which was omitted and the house sign was a bit small. Otherwise the place was lovely and quiet and Leigh was very nice as well. Great dogwalking area just up the road. Just ideal for a quiet week away.

"It did not state that the cabin was at the rear of the owners house."
Although we are dog lovers the owners dogs kept fouling around the seating area for the cabin .Was not picked up on the day they fouled .Also the bathroom needed a lot of tlc.a few spiders and cobwebs. This cabin was not for us unfortunately.
Many thanks for sharing your feedback of your stay with us recently.
Feedback is always welcome and have amended our wording to advise that the
log cabin is in the grounds of our garden.
I apologised for the dog fouling at the time and removed it as soon as you
told me. We give our guests the run of our large garden but that may have
to be re-thought.
On several occasions during your stay I asked if you had everything you
needed and if there were any issues. Unfortunately you didnt share your
issues with cobwebs and spiders. The cobwebs are unacceptable but I didn't
see them, nor were they pointed out and we could have quickly removed it
(them). With regards to spiders this is a little more tricky to manage as
they can come and go as they please.
We enjoyed having you both and Willow to stay who was gorgeous Property Owner

"The cabin was just what we expected, clean, comfortable and everything provided including freshly laid eggs."
Leigh and Kevin were very friendly and helpful especially when there was a problem with the toilet, luckily for us they also do bed and breakfast so we had 1 night B&B and then Kevin repaired the loo. It was an ideal venue for the dog as he had the whole garden to play in plus a park just around the corner so he was in 7th heaven and it was lovely and restful for us.
All in all it was a very good choice.
