  • "We loved our stay at the cottage."

It's small but cosy and has everything needed. We (and our dog) particularly loved the view over the fields from the living room. We just hope she didn't bark too much... There are only 2 things we weren't so keen on: one is the garden not being fenced. It's enclosed but a part of it is only a hedge - our dog found the escape routes in less than 30 seconds. The other one is the mattress being not very comfortable, so OH ended up sleeping in the living room on the floor. But apart from that, it was an excellent holiday with lots of lovely walks :) Many thanks.

  • "Excellent accommodation."

Very clean and very well equipped. Now has an airfryer which was a welcome addition to the kitchen appliances. There was some confusion over WiFi access - listed on one part of website as not being available but in fact it is. The biggest draw back to the property is the lack of parking - only one space to serve two properties. This is made clear on the website but what was not clear was where to find an alternative. We negotiated with a neighbour at the end of the road, who said it would be fine to park on the bit of waste ground by the stream, since the pathway/road was actually closed at that point. That proved to be the better option anyway because it avoided the sticky fall out from the trees close to the cottage!!

  • "We had a wonderful week at Ebenezer Cottage."

It's in a beautiful setting, overlooking fields and countryside. The cottage was spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need was provided and all such good quality. Very comfy bed with memory foam mattress and lovely power shower! Lots of wardrobe space and drawers. We were very sad to leave and really hope to stay there again soon.

  • "Bed was not too comfortable and we found duvet too heavy!"

Heating was more than efficient and not immediately easy to adjust. Conversely hot water only on in the morning at first and gone in the evening (This may have been down to adjustments made by earlier guests!) Shower splashed water out and this seemed to lead to a leak down into the living room. Lack of dishwasher, although where could it go? Maybe where the movable trolleys are stored, and they repositioned? Not easy given the lack of available space. On the plus side it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into property and items provided and they are good quality (though some of the saucepans could do with a good clean up!) Novel hiding place for the cutlery tray in the top of one of the trolleys in the kitchen(ette?)! Property manager was very prompt in dealing with any problem and easy to contact. The property more than lived up to the description.
