"Had a lovely weekend break in sea palling, 2 Waxham Court was a brilliant little bolt hole, perfect for going to the beach, it has all you need and the photos on the website don't actually do it justice."
We were very lucky with the weather so we were on the beach every day. There's not much in Sea Palling but what is there is really good, the shop has a great selection and is very good value, the arcade is really good and has a wide variety of machines to lose your 2p's,chippy and cafe both did good food and the beach shop has everything you need for a day at the beach.
Overall it was our 1st time in Norfolk and we will definitely be going back.

"A clean, comfortable and well positioned holiday home used to visit the Norfolk area - perfect for a 4 member family."
Minor issue was the big furry rug in the living room which shed a lot of material and which we believe caused a minor allergic reaction in a couple of us. Other than that this is a great rental property for a short break in Norfolk.

"Lovely stay in this property."
Ideally located for the beach. Clean and comfortable but could do with a power shower even though there is a shower there it’s just not very powerful, a washing machine would be a good idea and a higher sofa as the ones there are very low. Having said this we would stay there again as we like the area. Horsey Gap to see the seals on the beach is a must and The Nelson Head for food which is a short drive from the property. I would definitely recommend this property and the gentleman who looks after it for the owners is very helpful also.

"The house has great potential but sadly downstairs in particular is not very clean."
On arrival we parked in the space and the weeds in the verge were over 6ft tall. The front door leads straight into the kitchen I could see how dirty it was as soon as I walked in. After 5 mins a man from number 1 knocked on the door and asked if everything was ok. I was already cleaning all the work surfaces as I could see dirt all over them. He said it was the owner's fault for gardening with the window open. I also showed him the dog hairs stuck in the grease on the kitchen door and inside the cupboard. The kettle was also really dirty. Despite showing him all these things nothing was done or offered. The lounge carpet is really grubby and marked and one of the couches is badly stained. The rest of the house was so much better. Frustrating really because with a bit more effort and attention to detail this house could be so much better.

Be aware the allocated parking bay is only 2.4 metres wide and only suitable for a small to medium sized car, the shed for bike storage described in the property description was locked and unavailable as it was full up.

"The only pub within walking distance is Reefs Bar which reminds me of the sort of club that you used to get on caravan sites and it took us a while to find nice pubs nearby that serve good food and are dog friendly."
We put a couple of cards in the welcome book to help others find a decent pub but it would be useful if the owners could provide more information and post codes for the local pubs.
A big bonus for us was having Mitch, who takes care of the house, living next door. He was on hand when we arrived and offered to help us unload the car and because our car was to large for the allocated parking space he showed us where to park. He even brought us a fresh loaf of bread straight from his over one morning in time for breakfast. A really helpful gentleman.

"Lovely comfortable house which meet all our expectations, found the house to be an excellent location to explore the surroundings area."
Very short walk down the road to the beach, reefs bar, fish and chip shop and cafe which served wonderful sausage and bacon baps, teas, coffees and ice creams etc.
Mitch the guy next door is very helpful, he looks after the house for the owners. He brought us around a lovely homemade loaf of bread, which was very tasty and very kind of him. Actually found everyone very friendly.
We will certainly be returning to this property when we come back to Norfolk.

"The accommodation was first class and in a good location, ideal for dog owners."
The parking is a issue, unless you have a small car. The allocated bays are worse than Tesco's. I could get the car in, however I could not get out of the car. The grass in front of the property was the only answer as there are yellow lines all around the area. However it was a nice property and we enjoyed our stay.

"2 Waxham Court is a great location."
Literally five minutes walk from a great, fine-sand beach. Great for the dog. A very dog-friendly area - lots of bins around!
Jo & Gareth have a lovely, comfortable property, nice size kitchen, good size lounge and large bedroom with a comfortable bed. A good shower or bath - what more is to want. Plenty of cooking and eating utensils and the towels provided were of good hotel standard - we took and used our own, as the previous property we had stayed in did not and luckily we had taken old beach towels with us!
We absolutely will try and stay there again, both from the convenience and comfort of the property and the location of it, with so many places that are so accessible.
Wished we could have stayed another week!

Parking good.
Slight issue with hot water for the shower.
WiFi did not work, despite helpful communications with the owner. This was disappointing as one of the reasons we booked this was because having WiFi was mentioned.

"Brilliant location, easy walking distance to a really lovely beach."
The house was clean and comfortable, although the door hinges could do with a bit of WD40 as they were all very creaky, making it hard to creep around in the evening when the little ones were asleep! A sharper chopping knife would also have been handy. We had a great time and would stay here again if we were in the area.

The owners are very accommodating and have good communication for any problems. Very welcoming. Don’t rely on buses though. The schedules weren’t very encouraging and there aren’t any that go through Horsey which isa good walk from Sea Palling.
