  • "The lodge was spotless on arrival along with a welcoming pack of tea bags, Coffee and biscuits."

It is fully equipped and very comfortable, tv's, radio , Wi-Fi, even a set of binoculars. Haveringland is beautiful and peaceful but close to local restaurants and 30 minutes from the coast. Very enjoyable week and will definitely return.

The area was quite isolated so would be handy to have a little convenience shop on site for necessities, but on the whole the area was very peaceful in lovely surroundings.

  • "We had a wonderful weekend in this holiday home."

I don't know how to begin to describe what I found when I arrived and I hope I can write everything I found. A small house with everything you need, outside I found a barbeque with all the accessories to make a barbecue, in the living room you have everything you need to feel at home, radio with bluetooth, DVD player, with many DVDs, smart TV, an electric fireplace with a screen that gives you the impression that you are next to your grandparents' stove and enjoying the warmth, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer, all kinds of accessories for your gives the impression that you are at home, the terrace has a view of the lake and the meadow where you could see horses, sheep and all kinds of birds, all this made you feel in the middle of nature and you could enjoy a drink or a coffee morning. The bedrooms are exactly what you need for a good night's sleep, the two bathrooms were well equipped. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, a wonderful man, very warm, very respectful, polite and on this occasion we thank him from the bottom of my heart for all the support given. I want to thank sykes holiday for all the details sent during our stay, they helped us find places to visit and activities. We would have liked to stay a few more days, but as soon as we have the opportunity, we will return with great love to these beautiful places, to this welcoming house. We wholeheartedly recommend this cottage for a successful vacation. Thank you all for everything.

Thank you very much , glad you had such a good time , Owner Property Owner

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our week here at Haveringland Hall Park & although we had never stayed in this type of property before, the Lodge was well equipped, comfortable & cosy."

We were initially concerned about the remoteness of the park, but found that this added to the enjoyment, being peaceful & relaxing, plus providing amazing views of the sky on clear nights.

  • "Great place to stay, nice and quiet and relatively short distances to various beaches and not far from the main city of Norwich, so plenty of options if driving."

Place was clean and tidy and well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Only thing I would say is that the check out time could be a bit later, at 10am perhaps instead of 9am, would make it easier to check out on departure day.

Hi i am sorry about the given check out time and i agree , i was under the impression it was 10 am , so i will contact Sykes and have this changed for the future . many Thanks Brian Johnson Property Owner

Arriving at Lake view, the lodge was in a lovely location, it was very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were all made up and everywhere was clean and tidy. Where we stayed was very quiet and was lovely to have peace and calm. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this lodge to others wanting a peaceful break away.

The directions could be improved - no sign from main road to holiday park only when you arrived at the main gate. Everything you needed in the holiday home and gardens all well kept. Very harsh traffic calming near the reception office.

The crockery has been cut down to a minimum which didn’t make enough to use the dishwasher , The lodge was in a very peaceful setting, the surroundings were kept very nice with the gardeners working everyday , there was a small lake for fishing , there is not much in the surrounding area you are a bit out of it , but great if you just want to relax ! we had a nice meal in The Bell inn Cawston , and visited several beaches.

  • "Lake View is a wonderful little haven."

Just far enough from the daily grind to feel secluded and yet close enough to the local villages and towns to go for a meal or anything else that takes your fancy. The area is beautiful and full of history. The surrounding fields populated by horses are lovely and out was so relaxing watching them just wander and interact and gallop freely about. 18 Lake View was a joy to stay in. The residence was welcoming, clean and very well equipped, with some welcome goodies in the fridge to say "Hi". I would heartily recommend this to anyone. Thank you for a lovely stay. Just wish it could've been longer.

Very peaceful and quiet. The lodge was ideal, clean and well stocked, it wanted for nothing. There was even a welcome pack which contained the basic essentials; bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee sugar and those other little touches like cake, jams, sauces, together with some wine. We spend 2 weeks in which the sun managed to shine every and all day but the weather cannot be guaranteed I'm afraid. sorry to leave. .

The groceries were very welcome after a long journey. Plenty of DVDs for entertainment on those rainy days. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely book again. The only downside of our stay which was nothing to do with the lodge was the phone signal for EE, but otherwise a very pleasant and peaceful break

  • "What a lovely little property."

We really didn’t know what to expect having never stayed anywhere like this before and having booked at the last minute but the whole experience really exceeded our expectation. The property is very new and clearly well looked after. The living area was larger than expected and we just managed to squeeze the four of us round the table by using a small folding chair that we took with us. The second bedroom is small but still contains more than sufficient storage for a family of two adults and two teenagers. The site is well looked after and most owners take great pride in their cabin exteriors/mini gardens. There is plenty of open space and some lovely footpaths around the (big) lake and in the adjoining open access woods. Around 30 mins to Wroxham for Day boat hire on the broads and all the coastal towns including Marston (seal watching boat trips), Cley (fab smokehouse) and Cromer. Just under an hour to Sandringham estate. All in all a great five days/four nights :)

  • "I think that you may like to check your online description of this home, it is not a wooden lodge but a wood look plastic composite type of static."

It is nicely furnished and the equipment is of reasonable to good quality. There was ample hot water, and the fire in the lounge was very welcome and easy to use. The beds in the twin room are extremely small and difficult for an adult to sleep in. The owners had provided a much appreciated welcome pack as well as a starter in tea, coffee, sugar etc. The site itself is of a variety of statics, well and spaciously laid out and nicely kept. Number 18 is well named as you can sit at your ease on the verandah and watch the moorhens on the river. There are no facilities on site but Cawston is very near with a shop/post office, a deli/cafe and a pub - all quite comprehensive.
