“This was the 2nd year we have visited Haveringland.”

The cottage was great, but the seating was so unconfortable particularly for the aged.

The cottage was great, but the seating was so unconfortable particularly for the aged. The fishing was virtually impossible due to the lakes being abandoned This was nothing to do with Sykes and we will certainly be booking through them again

The property

Surrounded by woodland in the heart of Haveringland Hall Holiday Park, this cosy cottage is well-built, an immaculate lodge not far from one of the rivers on site.

Whether you are planning a romantic holiday, or a getaway with the family, you will be most intrigued by the beautiful interior, expect a warm welcome all-year-round.

The open-plan living area is light and airy, graced in soothing blues and whites, with accessories scattered around the place to create that home-away-from home feel throughout.

One side of the layout houses a wonderful lounge, centred by an artificial fireplace, wall-mounted TV, and two sumptuous sofas; there is even access to the delightful balcony which wraps all the way around the property for added effect.

Here there is a choice of two seating areas, one covered overhead for alfresco dining.

The contemporary kitchen lies adjacent, styled with black counter tops and white units, a contrasting theme which you can admire whilst enjoying a warm drink at the breakfast bar.

Continue to the vibrant family bathroom where you will discover a bath with a shower over, well-appointed for the two bedrooms.

The first is presented as a twin, which benefits from oak floors, a bedside table and a wardrobe, whilst the spacious double is thoughtfully decorated, with soft furnishings, and an outlook over the heart-warming lawned garden to be enjoyed on a sunny day.

As well as history, Cawston offers an assortment of lovely buildings, scenery, pubs and cafes to make it a real charming, homely village.

Norwich is around 13 miles away, a popular city offering more notable architecture.

The seaside resort of Great Yarmouth is also within driving distance and not to be missed.

Discover fishing lakes, a boating lake and a working church on site, adding to this relaxing holiday experience.
