"The annex was everything it claimed to be."
Spacious, comfortable, spotless with everything one could need. We found the outside disappointing in so far as the patio was smaller than expected and surrounded by a 2m high fence making it feel cramped. The area was untidy with dead leaves (not quite Autumn yet) and what planting there was was overgrown and needed to be cut back. A yard broom would have been helpful and outside lights by the front door and patio door would have been very helpful. The garden furniture was very basic. A BBQ would have been nice or a shelf to stand a disposable one on. The front garden was very untidy and the vision splay was impeded by vegetation on one side and a fence in the other. The owners were pleasant and helpful when we sought help.

"Very good accommodation, nice and clean and excellent communication with the owner"

"We didn't know that the owners had young children and that their patio was also part of ours except for a fence between."
It was also very small with a 6 foot fence all around with no views. The annex was very clean and spacious except for the bathroom - very small - not good if you are larger people. The "patio" was quite dirty until we cleaned it and got a bucket full of rubbish off it. Owners very pleasant. Village had no footpaths on a single track road - not good for walking into the main part of the village.

Comfortable with all the facilities needed for a great stay. A very friendly village with a local pub just a short walk away with excellent food. Definitely recommend

"The cottage was well prepared & the owners were very helpful with the very few queries we had."
The position of the property was excellent for exploring the Broads as well as the East coast. There was an excellent selection of local produce from seafood to a wealth of veges & salad - ideal for self catering. We had a very enjoyable week.

"Our second visit to Quaverhurst was as good as the first (and the welcome biscuits, milk, tea and coffee)."
The bed so comfortable and hearing the birds morning and evening (and one night an owl) is wonderful. Great area to stay in to visit the Broads, coast and country, with Norwich and many National Trust and English Heritage places within an hour's drive. Recommend a trip to Horsey Windpump and Ross' Wildlife Boat Trips, Norwich castle, cathedral and market, Blakeney Point for birds and seals (and crabbing), the RAF Radar museum, and much, much more.

"Good centre for visiting the area."

"The property is extremely comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need for a weeks stay."
The owners are very friendly and helpful. The welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and shortbread was much appreciated. An ideal spot to explore the Broads as well as the beautiful Norfolk coast. If returning to this area again this would certainly be our first choice for a place to stay.

"Lovely place to stay in lovely village."
Quiet location but not too far away from Norwich and other places to visit. Lovely to walk round in the evenings and to wake up to the sound of birdsong. Owners really helpful, gave good advice and information about the local area. Would definitely love to come again.

"We were disappointed with this property due to the total lack of effective sound proofing between the main house and the annex."
The residents in the main house have a small noisy toddler. The property was advertised as a quiet country retreat, this it most certainly was not.You do not want to be woken at 6.30 with a child shouting or crying or listen to the same after a day out sight seeing. The patio area gave no privacy due to low fencing, allowing any adults in the owners garden a clear view into it and the living room of the annex. We left on the Wednesday and have already sent you a letter of complaint regarding this holiday.

"Owned and run by a young couple who both went out of their way to contact us making sure that we had no problems,"
-
"The accommodation was first class, everything spotless and well equipped."
The location was perfect, with easy access to the Broads, National Trust properties, nature reserves and Norwich. The pub at the end of the road (The Greyhound) does very good food and is very welcoming. In all, a very good week.

About the location
STALHAM
Wroxham 8 miles; Norwich 15 miles; Great Yarmouth 17 miles.
The market town of Stalham, with its high street with a good range of shops and eateries, is a typical North Norfolk town. There is a small market which comes to the town on Tuesdays and a farmers’ market on every other Saturday, as well as regular sales in the town hall. Stalham is one of the major starting points of Norfolk Broads boating holidays and a museum to give you an insight in to the Broadland environment is a must. Just a few miles inland from fantastic beaches, this is a perfect base for exploring the Norfolk Broads and coastline.
