"Lovely setting, beautiful house very comfortable."
Only down side is the bins, the food waste bin was not emptied whilst we were there which caused flies in the house. This is not the home owners fault but something to be aware of.
-
"Excellent location."
Beach 2 mins walk as we’re the shops. Lovely traditional butchers, greengrocers and bakery. All our needs were easily met.
-
"Lovely and spacious and clean great for larger group."
.good location. Lots of character and very comfortable.

"We loved our stay at Kittiwake Cottage over the Christmas period."
We were two minutes walk from the beach and five minutes to the centre. The kitchen was very well equipt as was the rest of the cottage. The only small complaint I would have was that the mattresses were a little uncomfortable but you can't have everything!! Would definitely book here again.

"Another wonderful holiday in this great cottage."
As always dog had a wonderful time and cannot wait for us to return again.

"This was our second visit to this property our 3rd time booking wuth Sykes."
We love the property but im afraid the cleanliness was really bad . All showers the doors were water stained there were hairs in the shower tray. The quilts and pillows all want replaceing. The furniture in the seating area's wanted cleaning there were dirty throws on them of which i washed before useing them. We also had to buy cleaning solutions for worktops. We really do like this property and it was such a shame it has gone downhill.

"The location was perfect as only 3 min walk to the esplanade as well as to Tesco."
The house itself was perfect for a dog, 4 adults and 3 children with ample space in the open plan living and with 3 bathrooms it was great. I would definitely recommend staying here and if we holiday in Hunstanton again I will be booking again!!

"Not particularly clean trip hazards all around this property furniture was old and very uncomfortable."
Kitchen equipment was old, mugs supplied were stained and grubby, cooking utensils were old and need replacing. Mother in law tripped on an unmarked hazard and broke two ribs do not stay here if you can help it.
-
"Great location - only negative was that there wasn’t quite enough sofa seating in the living room for everyone to sit comfortably but there was extra sofa in dining room but we couldn’t watch tv from there - but not a major problem - lovely holiday despite the rainy weather !"

"The property is a beautiful building with a clever use of space which easily accommodated our party."
It has a lovely social kitchen, private parking and a secure garden. It is ideally situated within minutes of the seafront, the town and local supermarket. We did have a few niggles which we left private feedback with the owner about however it did not affect our holiday overall and we had a great time in this lovely part of the country.

"Maybe improve garden furniture"

"Nice cottage and ideal location - only few minutes walk to the promenade."
Unfortunately the description is not entirely accurate. BT sports listed but when we rang were told they haven’t had it for a year and it was Sykes fault for not updating this on the website. Bigger problem - when we arrived the downstairs bathroom had a message on the door “Out of Order, a pipe cracked but other showers not affected”. As this was one of the reasons we picked the cottage for this facility it was quite disappointing. When we directly rang the owner’s number were told it was difficult to get a plumber! If we wanted to ring Sykes we could. As we were on holiday we waited till we got home to ring Sykes. When this was looked into the owner changed the story to say “The shower room was fine to use, only bit of plastic was missing! Since when does an Out of Order sign not mean DO NOT USE! Yes, we should have taken a picture of the sign but most people are trustworthy and compensate you if you don’t have the full facility you paid for. Sykes have kindly issued a voucher for the false information about BT Sport. Moral of this, always take pictures of everything and report it immediately to the Holiday Company you book with.

"Kittiwake cottage was close to the seafront, but a area a bit overlooked and built- up."
It was bright and airy and had a reasonable sized garden. My elderly Mum was comfortable downstairs with walk-in shower next to her room but would be nice if sink was a bit bigger. The only down on the property which could be improved is the dining/kitchen chairs were very uncomfortable and really could do with seat cushions. Otherwise comfortable and clean and all amenities close by including a great Tesco down the road. Good parking too.

"This cottage is every thing they say, but also really convenient for the bus stop."
Buses into kings Lynn and along the coast are brilliant even out of season. The only fault is the stairs creak!
-
"Great location and very pet friendly."
Home from home .

"Always enjoy our stay at Kittiwake."
..as does our dog who knows all the streets better than we do. Booked again this year as we enjoy our stay here so much.

"Fabulous cottage very near to the sea, would thoroughly recommend"

"Cottage was relaxing very well equipped and within walking distance of shopping ..."
Cottage was relaxing very well equipped and within walking distance of shopping areas and ideal for strolling out to watch magnificent sunsets - the promenade approx two to three mins walk away had plenty of seating along it

"Kittiwake is situated in an ideal position for families with children as an indoor swimming pool, and large indoor play facilities are very close by for the times when it is raining."
There is also a nearby funfair as well as Sea World. The house is a good size and with a lovely kitchen etc and the bedrooms are good with adequate storage. The only problem for us was that the beds in the upstairs rooms were not very comfortable. Showers were very good.

"Needs new frying pan which we purchased and left behind for the next guest."
little things that nibbled us. chips out of the plates, need new cups. you are constantly washing up as there is not enough cutlery for 8 people ( THERE ONLY 4 OF ADULTS) dogs hair on the bedding. not nice when you leave yours in kennels and dont allow them on the settees or bedding. very quite location. most places closed up and only open weekends. only found one pub open during the evening, which was full of people because nowhere else was open. a very boring holiday would not go back there againe for the week.

"Nice cottage but not enough seating in the lounge area if you all wanted to sit together in the evening; the downstairs toilet was in the kitchen which felt unhygienic and it had to be used as a member of our party had mobility issues; on the plus side the cottage was ideally placed for all that Hunstanton has to offer, we wouldn’t visit this cottage again because of the location of the downstairs toilet as that was a big issue for us, sorry."

"The Cottage was clean, comfortable and in a central location close to all that Hunstanton offers as a traditional holiday base in Norfolk."

(very strange )Back gate handle broken so had to use front door to go out not ideal with two dogs !! Overall a great weekend break
