Kitchen area small but w ell equiped. Very pleasant open-plan layout. The only point to mention was that the shower door became detached from the bottom rail.

Thank you for your kind comments. The shower door has push buttons at the bottom to detach for cleaning. I hope this wasn’t too much of a problem for you. Property Owner

Very quiet in Kelling so need to drive to all shops etc but knew that before. Great tea room and antique shop there though. The cottage was well supplied with kitchen equipment. Only a few minutes to Dun Cow at Salthouse, in the car, where food was good. Also had lunch at the Pheasant Hotel which was excellent, could walk to that. Would certainly return. Beds very comfortable.

The owners had left many everyday essentials for us to use. Bed was super comfy, Kitchen facilities were more marvellous with a massive stock of plates, crockery and cookware. Loved the Bathroom. Decorated to a very high standard throughout. Beautiful view of the rolling fields and woodland when sat on the patio. Loved the super quietness of the cottage any passing traffic was hard to hear. Parking was in a private area just round the corner, a two minute walk. Overall we could not fault anything. A marvellous holiday, thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended.

2 things although not a criticism. A mention about the walk from the car park to the cottage and the distance ,would have been good to have known before hand . The second thing , a washer dryer as I found it difficult to get towels dry etc especially when the weather is wet .

  • "This cottage is beautifully appointed."

Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was provided. It is ideally situated to make exploration of the north Norfolk coast easy and accessible. Mobile phone use was restricted in the cottage but reception was fine where we parked the car. Connection could be made via the internet so no problem. Just one minor detail: arthritic hands found the operation of the key safe a little difficult! We would certainly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in this area and we thank the owner for taking so much care to provide the best experience possible.

We have stayed at a number of sykes cottages across Norfolk but Pebble cottage was by far the best. It had everything we needed, was very clean and felt very homely. It was in a beautiful hamlet and was one of several cottages on the grounds of a old dairy. It was very peaceful and was surrounded by fields and only a short walk from the beach where we saw seals bobbing up and down in the water. We had a fantastic holiday and have already booked it for next Easter!
