  • "Clean and tidy, comfortable beds, warm rooms and well equipped kitchen."

Excellent pubs and hotel nearby for eating out. Helpful owner. Well positioned for local attractions and country walks. Not suitable for young children or elderly as steep steps in rear garden access. Shower needs replacing

  • "This cottage is beautifully appointed."

Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was provided. It is ideally situated to make exploration of the north Norfolk coast easy and accessible. Mobile phone use was restricted in the cottage but reception was fine where we parked the car. Connection could be made via the internet so no problem. Just one minor detail: arthritic hands found the operation of the key safe a little difficult! We would certainly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in this area and we thank the owner for taking so much care to provide the best experience possible.

  • "Pebble Cottage is a lovely cottage beautifully located in a quiet village benefitting from private parking."

The cottage is very well equipped, a comfortable double bed and excellent wifi (and even though there is no mobile signal, if you have BT you can use 'wifi call' without issues). The cottage is a short walk from Kelling Beach and the small garden suitable for a morning cup of tea or catching the last rays of sun in the afternoon. We had en excellent week exploring Norfolk both on foot and by bike, much helped by the glorious sunny weather!

The on site parking is also very good as it is all hard standing and close to the cottage. There are woodland walks at Kelling Heath and plenty of beaches both sand and pebble that are dog friendly. Also every small village seems to have at least one pub all serving food and dog friendly.

We have stayed at a number of sykes cottages across Norfolk but Pebble cottage was by far the best. It had everything we needed, was very clean and felt very homely. It was in a beautiful hamlet and was one of several cottages on the grounds of a old dairy. It was very peaceful and was surrounded by fields and only a short walk from the beach where we saw seals bobbing up and down in the water. We had a fantastic holiday and have already booked it for next Easter!

Many restrictions for dogs, but a garden for them, which is a bonus. Kelling is a pretty village, it does have a tea shop but dogs are not welcome there. A good location to stay as there are many places to visit around area. Would probably be better for non dog owners.

It is situated in a pretty village and is perfectly located to visit all the best places in North Norfolk. Be aware that the parking is not right outside the cottage and there are some steep steps down the garden to the cottage. This could be an issue for some. We loved it but sadly there is no phone or WiFi signal in the cottage or garden.
