  • "Lovely cottage, but had to knock a star off due to a couple of niggles, the sink bowl and drainer needed a good clean."

I scrubbed bowl and removed drainer. The edges of the room hadn't been vacuumed. The edges of overflow in bathroom sink black where not cleaned properly. Shame as such silly issues and overall lovely place and owner lovely and helpful. Appreciated the flowers and cakes.

I love to cook and the kitchen was very well equiped. Helen was very supportive and helped us with our queries and dropped off a brochure for the King's Lynn heritage day which gave us a great day out. IT is close to the ferry which we used regularly and it is a greta location to get bussrs and trains to expplore the region. We would definately recommend this cottage.

The downstairs bathroom may be an issue for some. Helen the owner is very helpful and easy to contact. We were allowed to drop off our cases early as we were on our way to a wedding in the afternoon.

  • "Lovely cottage."

.. Clean and comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need... If there was one thing i had to say as a negative and this is through no fault of the cottage owners is that when you drive into the carpatk it's a shame you are greeted with a very untidy sight with old car parked in there and lots of rubbish outside their neighbours gate but as i said thats no fault of kathys cottage but was very noticable when we arrived all in all though we couldnt fault the cottage welcome when we got inside the property cakes and flowers were left out and the owners son came round and introduced himself so that was lovely thanks kathys cottage would definitely recommend

It is spotlessly presented and well equipped, in a quiet pretty location. We took our small dog and enjoyed walking by the river nearby. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner Helen and her family and her warm welcome was really appreciated. The cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Norfolk coastline, Sandringham park and visiting King’s Lynn. Would highly recommend and hope to return for another visit soon.

Open stair and just found it hard. I am glad of the washing machine being where it was and handy. Cottage was clean, flowers on table and a welcome pack of tea etc. I have to cook all meals myself cos of diet problems. and stove really good. Light bulb went out and phoned and new one in, took less than five minutes. So caring. would go again if in that area. Bus every hour to Kings Lynn go to end of road and every half hour. Village shop nearby but very expensive. Butchers great value and sells vegs very fresh and clean.
