  • "Lovely cottage peaceful quiet location."

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Had problem with oven on cooker on 1st day not working but owner had engineer arrive quickly to fix issue. Beautiful well kept grounds. Cottage is full of charm and character but watch your head with low doorways and stairs very steep and creaking floors upstairs sometimes disconcerting.

  • "A pleasant stay but a few things to be aware of: 1) you are unable to fish the ponds due to weed."

    2) the cottage is in a working farm area so don't expect complete peace and quiet. 3) the stairs are very steep with an incomplete bannister on the landing. I wouldn't recommend for older people or those unsteady on their feet. 4) because of the need to heat the water the range, which is oil fired, is constantly on. So, this makes the cottage incredibly warm on sunny days. The garden is lovely and mature and will look a picture once all the plants are in full flower. Good area for exploring the North Norfolk coast, Swaffham and Sandringham. Excellent meal at the King Charles III pub in Sporle.

The bedrooms are spacious, the living room cosy and the kitchen well stocked with all the utensils and equipment you'll need. Jenny, the owner, was there to greet us upon arrival and even made a courtesy phone call later on during our stay to check all was okay. She left us a very generous welcome pack including fresh flowers on the table! Little Flint is an ideal base from which to visit other parts of Norfolk. It is peaceful and secluded though not too far from the beaten track. Would highly recommend.

  • "We felt that the property was absolutely first class."

It was clean, well appointed with everything we needed. The outside lawn and garden was secure which was brilliant for my dogs. I was however surprised when the owner came to visit us, that she hadn't been asked if it was OK to bring 2 dogs, although I was told by Sykes that they had contacted her, and been charged an extra £20. I explained this to her, and we wondered where the £20 had gone.

We enjoyed coming back to the cottage after long days out and about but also had a few lovely days just taking it easy around the immediate vicinity. The cottage had everything we needed and Jenny had left a lovely welcome pack including lovely freshly collected eggs. We would recommend Little Flint for a lovely getaway holiday.
