    Everything you could possibly need was supplied. The whole barn was comfortably furnished and very clean.

    Only 2 issues someone had used toilet and not flushed properly not a nice welcome obviously not cleaned properly also had to clean microwave inside was very mucky apart from that it was a lovely place

  • "It is a lovely holiday home in a beautiful location."

    Very comfortable and beds were really comfy. Everything you need for a family holiday. The cottage was clean but the only thing I would say is a deeper clean would be better as there were cobwebs and spiders when we first arrived in the cottage. Despite this, I would still recommend this cottage and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

    The second bathroom was unexpected but so welcome. The proximity to the coast and cycle rides were very important to us, and though the rain was very heavy at times we stayed dry throughout.

  • "The cottage is situated in the Norfolk countryside but with easy access to Holt, Fakenham and Sherringham."

    Sycamore is one of several converted farm buildings surrounding a small courtyard. Both inside and outside maintained to a high standard. Although Sycamore is on a working farm, there were no agricultural noises, animal or machinary, to distrub the bucolic atomsphere.

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage which we found to be well situated for getting around the area."

    The facilities in the cottage were exactly what we needed although a smart TV would have been nice as we had to watch some programs on a laptop. The overall presentation of the cottage was good although a more thorough clean would in order as there are quite a few cobwebs around. The beds are very comfortable and heating works very well, we even found the internet to be very good although the mobile signal is not great which could be considered a holiday benefit. There is plenty to do in the local area although eating out is a bit hit and miss.

Sycamore is a delightful single-storey cottage in Wood Norton offering bright and cheerful accommodation.

Well equipped and comfortable, the open plan living area has French doors opening on to the communal courtyard and outside play area with swings, slide and seesaw which will appeal to kids of all ages.

Wood Norton is a small village in rural north Norfolk, close to the market town of Fakenham. Just two miles from Wood Norton is the village of Foulsham which has a local shop and a pub with a restaurant. Fakenham is just six miles away and is home to a national hunt racecourse and has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The popular market town of Holt is close by and is well known for a wonderful array of independent food stores, craft shops, tea rooms and restaurants. Further afield are the seaside villages of Wells and Blakeney as well as the more traditional resorts of Cromer and Sheringham. The cathedral city of Norwich is a wonderful location for a day out, plus there are many National Trust properties in the area just waiting to be discovered.
