• "Very good experience."

  Have been checking several ‘dog friendly’ homes just make we would be secure for a longer stay in the years to come. Nuholme ticks ALL the boxes. Will be booking a longer stay and see more of the loverly beaches nearby. We spent a lot of time at sea palling beach. £1.50 an hour or £7.50 for the day just 4.5 miles away. There are 8 beaches less than 12 miles away. Worth another trip then ………

  Well located for the Broads and the whole of North Norfolk. Stalham is nice with lots of amenities even if it's not the prettiest village. The cottage had everything you want and need for a great stay, we will be back. 10 out of 10

• "Well equipped cottage."

  When we arrived at Nuholme, everything was spotless. We always order the basics in our shop, and couldn’t believe it when everything was already there. The stairs are steep, mother in law struggled a bit, but just took them slow. Bedrooms lovely and light, beds comfy. Plenty of storage and hangers. Garden perfect for kids and dogs. Couldn’t believe our luck with the amount of inside space too - thought the photos might have been exaggerated with angle lenses, but it’s as big as it appears. Semi detached, but couldn’t hear neighbours at all. Would 100% return. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

• "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nuholme."

  Lots of space, fab kitchen! Very clean and extremely dog friendly...lovely welcome pack, including a bowl of dog treats, all of which our boy ate over the week! The high street is pretty much on your doorstep, but not at all noisy. There's also a large Tesco nearby (including petrol station), which you can walk to from the high street, or it's a couple minutes in the car. The fish and chip shop is superb...they were queuing out of the door when we went, well worth the wait! Stalham is the perfect location for discovering the surrounding area; there's a great Museum of the Broads, about 10min walk from Nuholme which is worth a visit and lots of interesting places to visit in the surrounding area. We very much recommend Nuholme and hope to be back sometime to discover more!

  Exceptionally clean and the welcome pack is outstanding. Situated in Stalham so great for local shops and close to the Broads. Garden is enclosed so ideal for dogs. I would definitely chose this property again for the location, cleanliness and homely feel.

• "Wow wow and double wow."

  A fantastic property. Clean comfortable and so well equipped. The house had such a lovely feel to it. A great welcome pack, cake, biscuits, jam and milk. Also a bowl of goodies for the dogs. An incredibly dog friendly cottage, the garden is completely secure, even for three Springers. The house is in a super location, 15 minutes from beautiful clean beaches. All the car parks are pay and display but very reasonable. Lots off interesting places to visit. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

• "The stairs are quite steep for elderly or disabled people."

  There was a stale smell in the shower room downstairs. The owners should be congratulated on their thoughtfulness for guests comfort with lots of things provided within the accommodation for entertainment. Really appreciated the welcome pack with local goodies.. The cottage was so dog friendly with beds and bowls etc , daughter could have left her dog bowls at home if she had known. Lots of information in the pack was really useful. We all had a lovely time & it’s a quiet location and gave us access to the places we wanted to visit. Thank you.

With regard to the downstairs shower room - unfortunately Norfolk is a hard water area and we do have to regularly flush through the pipework with a special cleaner to keep the water flowing freely. This was done the morning of your arrival and we can only assume this was what was noticed -as we have never had a problem before. Property Owner

• "Beautiful property!"

  Nuholme was perfect for my family holiday with our dogs. The house was so well equipped, comfortable and so clean. It was like a little haven of peace in what first appeared to be a normal street. The garden was an absolute sun-trap all day long! The location was ideal for exploring beautiful, quiet beaches and within easy reach of Aylsham and Cromer. I would definitely recommend Nuholme to anyone holidaying in Norfolk.

• "This property is amazing for a family holiday."

  We were welcomed with some goodies to eat and drink. Lounges, kitchen and downstairs living area were huge and a downstairs toilet and shower room was a bonus for a family of 5. Plenty of room in the 3 bedrooms. Lovely soft towels to use for our stay too. Garden is so lovely and our children enjoyed sitting in the garden house with torches. Property was situated in a lovely little village with a few shops and couple of pubs and coffee shops. Can highly recommend this beautiful property for a holiday stay.

  Everything you need for a great holiday is in the house. Garden is a great sun trap and is secure so is perfect for the dogs to roam around in.. The house is so spacious and well maintained and so comfortable, Nice welcoming bottles of wine and a very nice cake on arrival. our second visit and i am sure we will come again. There is a large Tesco about 10 mins walk away and a couple of very nice pubs that serve food in the village.

• "A really lovely holiday home."

  Was so well equipped with everything you could need. A highchair hadn't been left but the owner quickly came and sorted that out for us. Lots of toys/games/dvd's to keep little ones occupied as well as a big Smart TV, so good for rainy days. The cottage is well located, 10 minutes to the nearest beach and lots of shops and a big Tesco's on your doorstep. There is also a fab little playpark down the road and a big playing field. The only negative, and this is pointed out in the guest manual, is that the extension bangs. I thought it was next door slamming their doors until I saw it in the guest book. It really isn't a major thing but something to be mindful of if you're of a nervous disposition!

• "Every little detail was thought of."

  ....dog beds, bowls, towels, enclosed garden with a hose to wash off muddy paws right by the door. This was truly dog friendly. I was delighted to see baby gates too which are so often not thought of. We loved it so much we've booked for the same week next year! I wish all "dog friendly" places were as well equipped as this! Our dogs had a fabulous holiday and so did we! We all loved the treats on arrival too. Thank you for such a lovely holiday.

  Everything you needed to enjoy your holiday was there and ready. The kitchen and dining area was beautifully laid out and a joy to sit in. The dogs loved the garden and the nice dog beds that were to use. Great location, only 15mins drive from some beautiful dog friendly beaches. Loved it so much we booked the house again for next year as soon as we got home Thank you

• "Nuholme was far better than we could imagine."

  Plenty of space where you need it, and a well thought out use of the garden space. Both the grandchildren and the 2 dogs loved it. A thoughtful and tasty welcome package for the humans (we went to the farm shop to stock up before going home) and comfy beds and biscuits for the dogs. Beautiful beaches and the broads on the doorstep, a visit to see the seals is a must do!

  The property was lovely and spacious, the only downside was the very squeaky bed in the front bedroom. The facilities for our dog Maisie were great, she loved the dog bed provided.

  We enjoyed the lovely garden and summer house for reading.Both dogs were welcomed and it was easy to bring them along. It is convenient for the excellent uncrowded beach at Happisburgh which is dog friendly.My granddaughter found herself swimming next to a seal! We also had a wildlife trip on the nearby broads and saw leopards and tigers and porcupine at nearby Thrigby hall. who needs to go abroad??

  The house was well equipped with enough room to accommodate two kids ,four adults and two dogs.With the large rear extension the house is like the Tardis .Welcome pack and treats for the dogs was a nice touch.You can Just about fit two small/medium cars on the drive.Short walk in to town with a great Indian and chippy around the corner. • "Our family stay at nulhome was second to none from start to finish just perfect."

  Such a homely feeling so welcoming from the local cake and biscuits and the doggy biscuits was a nice touch. Our little boy and dog loved the garden and the space to play brilliant location for the beach every day and broads for something different with nice riverside dog friendly pub all within 3 miles. We could not fault a thing house was above and beyond our expectations the whole family was so happy with our stay at the big house as our little boy called it just perfect many thanks will definitely be booking again.

  Nuholme is a stunning boutique house that is superbly designed to accommodate dogs, but still stay comfortably in lap of luxury. The huge garden room is perfect for dogs opening out onto a secure garden and side gate, allowing access to the house without going through the main living area. Everything you need is there and all designed to guarantee a relaxing, enjoyable holiday.

  Clean and very comfortable. Statham is very central to every where with a real village feel. It has a post office with a cash machine and a local produce shop. A really lovely cafe with home cooked food. The people are really friendly also and just in case your pet is taken ill it has a vets. I will be going back in July. Really love this area. ....

  Completely dog friendly, beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. Great location, and as we stayed just before Christmas it was tastefully decorated with festive gestures. The welcome treat package was thoughtful. There was not one thing that was wrong and we will certainly stay there again. Would give this property a 5 star rating, especially as we also had our own parking space. Thank you.

• "What a wonderful cottage to holiday in, from the minute you walk in it takes your breath away."

  It's beautifully furnished and has everything you need in abundance. Beds are so comfy, fantastic garden room. Shame it wasn't the summer as would have loved to make use of the garden. The drive says only parking for 1 car but we managed to get 2 large cars on there no problem. It really was a home from home and will definitely be back at some point.

• "This house exceeded all of our expectations and went above and beyond for both the humans and our cananine companion, the welcome back was fabulous and lovely to walk into, the kitchen was better stocked than any we have stayed in before and all details had been thought about and the smaller touches really make the difference, the location is superb of this house is brilliant, within walking distance of the town centre, supermarket, pubs, take-aways, and lovely countryside walk."

  The dog was very pleased with his own welcome pack, the comfortable bed, throws and super large secure garden. This is a real gem and well worth a visit 5 stars from us.

• "Beautiful house, well equipped and within easy walking distance of shops and eating places."

  Welcoming gifts of wines and cake plus biscuits etc for our dog. Sea Palling only 4 miles away where you can alwats walk dogs on the beach and well placed for visits to Cromer and other attractions in the area. Sadly the only drawback was the loud clunks and bangs coming from the fibreglass roof in the main room where we had to stay with our Westie (it explained these in the guest handbook) particularly in the evening and at night when the temperature changed. These were very disconcerting to us and made our dog very anxious so unfortunately we shall not be staying there again. I certainly think any one with a dog or of a nervous disposition should be prewarned about this before booking.

  The house was well equipped and very clean and a welcome pack of essentials was waiting for us. The nearby town Stalham had some good shops and further out we found some great quality farm shops. Coastal results were easily accessed from Stalham and we would highly recommend staying at the house.

• "For any one going away with your pets this cottage is perfect."

  Location perfect for long dog walks returning to cosy home where from arrive you are all made welcome, treats for dogs, comfy dog beds and also welcome treat for us. The cottage is a tardis, we have three large dogs and we loads of space. Garden is totally secure. Location perfect with all amenities whilst retaining village feel. For treat try the chippy and the cinnamon curry take away. Owner was lovely and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing week away.
