  • "The house was lovely and in a great location."

    A short walk to the beach, pubs and shops. We visited North Norfolk railway and Blakeney Point which were in easy reach by car. It had a well equipped kitchen and plenty of space for 5 Adults. The only negative I will mention is that the double bed on the 1st floor is extremely hard but some people may like that! We were well informed by the owners about the property before arrival and we enjoyed the bottle of wine and biscuits that were left for us. We were blessed with good weather so overall we had a fabulous break away.

    Plenty of room for the 2 of us. Well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. However the description of sea view was misleading as you could only get a restricted view from the top floor bedroom.

  • "The positives far outweigh any negative comments."

    The house is much bigger than the photos show, it is in a great location & includes a good range of utensils equipment & games. The owner had very clear communication on top of the emails from the rental company. Plenty of hot water & nice bathroom facilities, lovely soft thick towels. Areas for improvement: There were no mattress protectors on the FF double bedroom and one of the twin beds. The SF master suite mattress is in need of replacement. Despite not arriving until nearly 6pm the dishwasher was mid cycle which was frustrating - especially as the property must be vacated by 9am. Considering the late check in & early check out times we would have expected an enhanced level of cleaning to be taking place but some areas were very dusty e.g light fittings in dining room, doors, skirting etc The milk frother was not clean & we did not feel we could use it. As stated though these did not detract from us having a pleasant stay & it was unfortunate the weather wasn’t as nice!

  • "Perfect location for a family holiday (we won't mention the M25."

    ..). The accommodation was equipped with everything we needed - a real home from home, with plenty of space for all of us, so we weren't on top of one another. My holiday-let kit of sharp knives, etc, went unused. The garden was lovely - places for all to sit and even a 'secret' corner. A large, efficient heated airer took the place of a tumble dryer for damp days. A couple of queries were promptly dealt with by the friendly owner. We hope to return soon!

    The house is very spacious, comfortable and also children friendly. It has also has a nice garden. The owner was very welcoming, going the extra mile to allow us an earlier check in. Would definitely recommend this place.

  • "Seapoint , was excellent, with a great thought & detail put in by Peter, ( the owner) We arrived in a very bad storm, on Friday evening , which we had been warned about!"

    ! Peter had left us torches , just in case of power cuts, Which did happen later that night, This property was a great find , and we hope to return in 2021

  • "Really lovely property."

    We thought it was undersold on the website. Website says no wifi which could have affected our decision to go - but there was wifi so that needs updating. Fabulous linen and towels. Kitchen brilliantly stocked with all sorts of cooking utensils which were used in ‘Come Dine with Me’ evenings! Time of arrival and departure. ... emails stated 3pm arrival time and 10am departure. However cleaners were surprised when we got there at 3.30 and owners surprised when we weren’t away at 9.00. Need to correct the info to renters. Garden lovely - perhaps include some more ‘lounging’ deck chairs for comfortable reading?

The property

Located in the attractive coastal village of Mundesley, less than five minutes' walk to the beach, is this attractive, three-storey terraced property, Sea Point.

Sleeping seven guests, this spacious property is ideal for a family or group gathering by the coast, well-placed for exploring Norfolk's best attractions.

There is roadside parking available and secure storage for bikes, should you want to partake in any cycling, with the Norfolk coastline as your beautiful backdrop.

Entering the property, the hallway has stunning wooden floor, which leads into the comfortable sitting room, complete with two leather sofas and a wall-mounted TV to enjoy.

The dining room has a wonderful feature fireplace and a table with seating for seven, where you can gather together as a group to enjoy meals.

The spacious kitchen/diner has additional dining seating, along with patio doors that lead onto the garden, a huge Range cooker, which is a stunning feature that is built into an exposed brick wall, along with a host of modern conveniences, including a dishwasher and washing machine.

Upstairs, you will find three spacious bedrooms, a double, a twin and a single, the latter two of which would be ideal for younger guests, each offering ample storage.

The family bathroom has a stunning roll top bath and walk-in shower, so you can choose how to prepare for each day, while the second-floor houses a generous king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room and glimpse of the sea in the distance providing the perfect private space for a couple to escape from the rest of the group.

Outside is a spacious, enclosed garden with patio area and outdoor furniture, so you can enjoy a morning coffee or alfresco dinner when the sun is shining.

Mundesley village has a host of amenities, all within walking distance, including coffee shops, supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacy and doctors surgery, takeaways, pubs restaurants and a post office, while the glorious sandy Mundesley Beach, lined with colourful beach huts, is less than five minutes' walk away, along with the Mundesley Maritime Museum and Mundesley Golf Course.

Mundesley beach is a Blue Flag beach and has a family swimming area with lifeguards.

Walk in either direction and you can have a beach to yourself.

Mundesley Beach has been voted the best beach in England.

Mundesley has a crazy golf course, a skate board park, football pitches, tennis court & netball/basket ball, fitness area and swings, slides and play areas.

Venture into the Norfolk Coast AONB to enjoy a stroll around Fellbrigg Hall, a 15th century mansion on a huge estate with woodland and a lake, while Sheringham Park, owned by the National Trust is renowned for its stunning flora.

Sheringham itself has a beach, golf club, Beeston Bump, a 63m high hill that overlooks the coast, two museums and the RNLI Lifeboat Station.

Attractions for children also include the famous Dinosaur Park in Lenwade to enjoy.

Nearby Cromer has a wonderful sandy beach, along with its esplanade and pier and pavillion centre.

There are lots of cafés, restaurants and shops to browse, while other attractions include Cromer Museum, RNLI Henry Blogg Museum and Amazona Zoo.

The Norfolk Broads and city of Norwich, with its cathedral, castle and museums, are also within driving distance.

North Walsham 5 miles; Cromer 8 miles; Sheringham 14 miles; Norwich 20 miles.

The attractive, Norfolk coastal village of Mundesley offers shops, cafés, a popular golf course, a large park with play areas, a wonderful sandy beach with brightly coloured beach huts, and quaint cottages, many of which are built in local flint stone. The popular seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham, which is known as a stop for steam trains travelling on the Poppy Line Heritage Railway, are both close by. There are many other places of interest in the area, including the National Trust owned Sheringham Park, Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, and East Ruston Gardens and Hoverton Hall are a must for gardeners.
