“Heather and Bob provided everything ...”
Heather and Bob provided everything we needed to settle us in and make the property a home from home.
Heather and Bob provided everything we needed to settle us in and make the property a home from home. There were a few boiler issues on the first night but Bob quickly came to the property to fix it and we were toasty after that. Whilst there Bob noticed the handsoap was low so returned to check the boiler was working and brought another bottle of handwash the next day. The location of the house is super and the facilities were more than we expected. We had very generous hosts - thank you.

The Old Rectory Cottages
A superb development of four holiday properties, three occupying a wing of an impressive Edwardian house, in the heart of the popular and beautiful, North Norfolk seaside village of Mundesley. Occupying an enviable setting just 150 yards from the beach, each of the cottages have been finished with the holidaymaker in mind and offer an excellent standard of living and a welcoming atmosphere, making you long to return time and again. All four properties come with their own private outdoor spaces, and share an external laundry room, so whether booked separately for a small family holiday, or all together for a reunion to remember, they are the perfect choice for your Norfolk getaway. The stunning sandy beach is just a short stroll away and is one of the cleanest around with its golden sands dotted with shallow rock pools and lined with pretty beach huts. From the cliffs beyond you can look across the many miles of sweeping coastline, with fantastic views all the way to the prominent Happisburgh Lighthouse. From here you can take a bracing clifftop walk along the coast, passing Stow Mill along the way. The character village of Mundesley is made up of quaint cottages, many with charming thatched rooftops, and is well served with three pubs, a small selection of shops and eateries and a tiny maritime museum open during the summer season, one of England’s smallest but well-worth a visit! This pretty part of Norfolk’s coast offers day trips aplenty with an array of things to see and do, including nature reserves, National Trust houses, excellent beaches and of course, the famous Norfolk Broads. With the beach just a few moments away, and an abundance of attractions within easy reach, this group of bright, thoughtfully-designed cottages have everything you need for a fantastic Norfolk getaway.
This exceptional semi-detached property has been lovingly renovated by the owners to provide spacious and bright accommodation across three floors.
From the minute you step inside, the cottage is sure to delight, with its large, well-equipped kitchen with range cooker and useful utility room for washing and storing outdoor kit.
The sitting room with dining area leads on from the kitchen, where you can sit back on the comfy chairs and enjoy an evening movie after a busy day on the beach.
Across the first floor are three good-sized bedrooms, one with an en-suite and a separate family bedroom, whilst the third floor houses the spacious master bedroom with its own separate bathroom.
