Very pretty garden with a trampoline which went down well with our 4 year old! Super, much needed log fire too. There were some oddities however. Beautiful cot on 1st floor landing & an additional travel cot in a cupboard. No cot was mentioned, so we'd taken our own. However, there was no highchair, so we had to improvise with cushions stuffed into plastic bags, as we didn't really want to take the owner's texted advice to " buy one from Asda"! So I think one problem here was a lack of detail on the cottage facility list. Finally, Beach Retreat- it's a bonkers name for a cottage that is 2 miles drive from the sea & a healthy 10 minute walk to the Broad! Don't get me wrong. We're up for a challenge & would have loved to come back in warmer weather as the price was very reasonable, the cottage warm & comfy & the area around of interest, but during our stay, a For Sale sign was nailed to the front fence.......
