    “Coathooks and a shoe rack would be helpful .”

    Also the grass had been cut but not cleared and it made access to the hot tub difficult . The front door was a bit dodgy to close

Lakeland Lodge is a lovely lodge located in Pentney, Norfolk, on a narrow and quiet country road.

The property is positioned near a woodland park area with lakes, boasting stunning views.

The main door leads into an open-plan living space, with a well-equipped kitchen, with all the amenities you could need to cook the whole family a scrumptious meal.

With wooden units and spacious worktops, ideal for lots of preparation work.

Upstairs are a further two bedrooms consisting of a family room with a double and single bed and a triple bedroom.

As a collection, the bedrooms can sleep eleven people and is perfect for large families or a large group of friends.

The two bathrooms have modern fixtures and fittings and are conveniently located on the first and ground floor, with a shower room on the ground floor, ideal for someone with limited mobility.

There is off-road parking for up to four cars.

Outside there is a fairly enclosed garden with a decking area.

Sit out on the lovely garden furniture and enjoy the evening sun.

As an added extra, you can enjoy a refreshing drink in the luxurious hot tub.

Local attractions include Castle Rising, a historic castle which was built in 1140 AD, with a spectacular maze of stone steps.

Kids can explore the ramparts and search for enemy hordes.

Parents can pack a picnic and enjoy the lovely surrounding gardens.

The historical village of Pentney is situated in acres of colourful countryside rich in wildlife. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, relics of ancient Roman Kilns have been excavated over the years, whilst today the village is home to a church, a 12th Century Priory, and a welcoming pub serving fine food. The nearby village of Castle Acre boasts the impressive ruins of a Norman Castle and was in 1971 designated as Norfolk's first Conservation Area. Visit the elegant market town of Swaffham, just 7 miles away, with its magnificent Georgian architecture, glorious, angel roofed church and variety of interesting shops and inviting restaurants.
