  • “The beds were uncomfortable.”

The property was tired but we could see this from photos and didn't bother us. However it needs new mattresses. Good location with walks on the doorstep.

The property

This traditionally designed cottage is graced with a warm and cosy feel, situated in the characterful village of Ringstead.

The location offers delightful rolling countryside, as well as circular walks, resting only four miles from the village of Hunstanton.

Upon entering Rivendell, you will be welcomed by a lovely lounge, tied together with two arm chairs, a sofa and a coffee table.

A selection of books and games lie on the shelves, so you can enjoy a good read amidst the warm ambience of the open fire.

The country kitchen features a selection of pine furniture, dark wooden units, and seating for up to six people at the homely dining table.

Continue to relax in one of the stylish bedrooms; the double boasts its own dressing table and TV, with views of the garden leaning in the direction of the coast.

There is a twin, and a single room suited for a child, with a cot making up the layout, perfect for a little one.

The family bathroom is presented as a classic suite with an overhead shower and patterned flooring, finishing the interior in a well-rounded fashion.

With the resort of Hunstanton and the quieter coast at Holme-next-the-sea equally three miles away, the village is well appointed for exploring the north west corner of West Norfolk.

The perfect chance to enjoy Norfolk’s coastline.

It is renowned for its unique cliffs and sunsets, made special by its position as the only west-facing resort on the East coast.

A getaway not to be missed.
