“The cottage has recently been renovated so it felt brand new.”

The property is really well positioned in Sheringham and all amenities can be reached in a few minutes. The lack of onsite parking was a concern and initially a negative for us when we booked, however the council car park is literally 2 minutes away so no drama. Sheringham is really well set for handling Covid-19; one way stickers on the left side of the pavements; strict with how many people can go into shops & pubs; track and trace forms in all pubs and restaurants. ...

The owners have added a little fence and gate which is an advantage with a nosey dog. Also highly recommend Corner House at West Runton - it's the next village along. They have a fantastic tea rooms which is also dog friendly!! Highly recommend this cottage.

Sheringham was originally a small fishing village on the North Norfolk coast, but with the arrival of the railways in 1887 it prospered and grew into a popular holiday town. Sheringham has been awarded ten consecutive European Blue Flags for cleanliness for its beach, along with awards from Britain in Bloom, Anglia in Bloom, and Best Coastal Resort. Enjoy walking along the East or West promenades, offering sea views with blue skies and red sunsets, a beach with a silver-pebbled shoreline leading to golden sands with rock pools and streams next to ochre cliffs, local fishing boats and a RLNI lifeboat station with museum.
