    “Thatched Delight”

We were looking for something pretty with safe space for the dog and this didn’t disappoint! The house is beautiful with a thatched roof and beams throughout. The garden is a large and enclosed with a summer house at the bottom to chill out in. In the garden is also an added bonus of a hot tub which is right on the patio so not out of the way. The master bedroom has the biggest bed I have ever seen and a free standing bathroom in the bedroom - amazing! The hosts attention to detail was just perfect with a bottle of Prosecco on chill in the fridge, jam, cooking oil, washing up liquid, towels and everything you could possibly want that you would try and think of bringing! There was individual bottles of water left by the side of each bed and the house was immaculate! The dog was welcome in every way - although we took our own there were two dog beds to choose from - big blankets to cover the chairs so we could snuggle up with her - a bowl full of water and bags ready for the garden poop! Ok - negatives It was very out of the way - nothing around it although the village only took 8ish minutes to drive to so not a disaster by any means but the foot paths are minimal being the country. This is the main reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 but if you like being out the way it’s perfect. You may whack your head going up and down the stairs but this is part of the original house so it isn’t really a negative just be careful! Beautiful house! We loved it!
