  • “Extremely spacious, clean & ...”
Extremely spacious, clean & comfortable. The owners only live next door and went beyond the call of duty to help out. A fantastic holiday & didn't want to leave this beautiful place. Highly recommended.

The property

Mulberry Cottage is a beautifully renovated cottage in the popular Norfolk village of Snettisham.

The cottage is situated just a quick stroll from the centre of the village and is a short drive or cycle ride to the beautiful North Norfolk coastline, ideal for a family holiday.

As you walk through the enclosed front garden you will instantly notice the work that the owners have put in to renovating the cottage, beginning with its immaculate exterior.

Entering the cottage, you will instantly sense the care and attention which has been used throughout; the well-equipped kitchen to the rear of the house is perfect for accessing the back garden for alfresco dining.

After a day out and about, kick back and relax in the comfortable sitting room with a warming woodburning stove nestled in an exposed brick fireplace.

Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms, a king-size double overlooking the front of the house, a small double and a twin room overlooking the back garden.

Snettisham is a popular Norfolk village with a fine selection of pubs and shops, and is perfect for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers, being just minutes away from the famous Norfolk coastline.

Norfolk abounds with pretty villages such as Burnham Market and Holt with interesting shops, markets and places to eat, and magnificent houses such as Houghton Hall and the beautiful Sandringham House with its stunning gardens.

Further along the coast, why not enjoy fish and chips in Wells-next-the-Sea or freshly-caught crabs and seafood in Cromer, as well as visiting traditional seaside towns such as Heacham and Hunstanton.

This is a delightful family holiday home in a wonderful village location; perfect for a holiday at any time of the year

About the location

SNETTISHAM

Heacham 3 miles; Royal Sandringham 4 miles; Hunstanton 5 miles.

Snettisham is a traditional Norfolk village, with many of its houses built from the local iron-rich carr stone, which has an attractive golden-brown colouring. Due to this, the buildings are known locally as “gingerbread houses”. Village amenities include general stores, a Post Office, 2 inns, a bistro and a regular bus service to the bustling, family-friendly seaside resort of Hunstanton and historic King’s Lynn. The church of St Mary sits alone on top of the hill and is certainly worthy of a look inside at the exquisitely decorated tracery flowers on the west window. There is an RSPB bird sanctuary close to the beach, which is three miles away, and the ancient Peddars Way public footpath runs near to the village. Park Farm is on the edge of the village, and is a working farm with year-round activities for all the family, including a 45-minute “deer safari” and the chance to feed some of the animals. The Royal Estate of Sandringham, whose impressive house, gardens and church are open to the public, is nearby, as are the plant farm, tea rooms and gift shop at Norfolk Lavender, England's premier lavender farm.
