  • "The property was as advertised on the website."

We found a couple of issues. My husband was not able to use the couches as the suspension was not good. (He is recovering from a major stroke and prostate cancer treatment). He had to use one of the wicker chairs in the conservatory. The lounge carpet was badly stained also the main bedroom one . The kitchen cupboards were a little worse for wear. The hot was intermittent, information re rubbish collection days was not recorded. I asked a neighbour,

Only one minor comment is that it would be helpful to have a cupboard or chest of draws in the single bedroom.

  • "Had a lovely break in the bungalow with plenty of room for us all and a good size garden for the dog."

Everything we needed was there, and property was well maintained. Just a couple of things that might be worth considering, pasta bowls in the kitchen, a larger towel for everyone and maybe some cushions for the outdoor seating? Only other thing that was noted was that the sofas were a little uncomfortable due to the seating cushions being flat and dipping when sitting on them.

Plenty of local places to eat and drink, but also well positioned to go off exploring. The local beaches are a brilliant if you don’t want to wander too far. The garden is a lovely, quiet retreat to relax in after a day of exploration.

  • "We found this bungalow very comfortable, clean in side and traditionally furnished with every thing you might need."

We chose the location for ease of cycling around the Broads and to the coast. The conservatory was a nice feature and we spend much of our time in there. The gardens were a nice feature with garden on 3 sides in the back, however I do believe the owner should engage a gardener. The grass was cut, but that was it. The stone areas and pots were full of weeds. This was not acceptable. Also the outside windows frames, window sills, and guttering were in need of a good clean. On arrival at the property I saw the front garden with weeds, front door with cob webs around the door, dirty window sill and green covered guttering. Impressions from the outside, are just as important as the inside. I hope the owner will take these comments positively and turn this property from a nice let to a very nice let.

  • "On your description of 16 Heron Gardens it states that there is a fridge/freezer as well as a fridge, that's incorrect ."

Yes there is 1 fridge and a stand alone freezer in the conservatory. I think this needs to be changed on your description so that people are not mislead. It is possible if you have small cars to park 3 but anything bigger there is only room for two max. Other than this Heron Gardens is a beautiful quiet place for a holiday.

The property was everything you could want. Open, airy with a good sized garden and facilities. The electric clothes airer was an added bonus you don't normally get, dishwasher and washing machine but not normally some way of drying wet clothes. If we look to going to Norfolk again would look to see if this property was available.

We found that the shower door was not properly secured. A pair of the running wheels at the bottom of the door had popped out from the running rail and despite our best efforts, everytime we attempted to open or close the door it kept coming loose. The door therefore was wobbly and not properly secure. We made mention of this in the visitors book. We also were unable to find the freezer when we first arrived, only a larder fridge. We consulted the info folder and found that the freezer was in a shed in the garden! The door was secured by a very stiff bolt at the top of the door. The kitchen had a dishwasher but we felt that the space would have been better filled by having it removed and the freezer being brought indoors. Apart from these two minor issues we enjoyed our stay in this lovely bungalow.
