  • "This is our second visit to Sunnyside and it did not disappoint!"

    The bungalow is warm, cozy, modern and well appointed. The Owners have clearly taken time to make Sunnyside the ideal holiday let. It is perfectly placed for all the facilities that Wells next the Sea and the surrounding area has to offer. Everything was perfect for our stay and our 2yr old cockerpoo was well catered for as Sunnyside is dog friendly and has a beautiful safe and secure garden. Cannot fault this lovely property!

  • "We cannot speak highly enough about Sunnyside."

    Definitely “the jewel in the Crown”. Its close proximity to Wells Next Sea and all the facilities is perfect. The beach, shops, pubs, restaurants all being close by. The bungalow itself was clean, tidy, warm and well appointed, just perfect for our Christmas stay! Our young dog was also catered for and the garden was safe and secure. Loved our stay and have already booked to return in a few months! We were lucky enough to have contact with the owners who couldn’t have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome! We wouldn’t change anything about Sunnyside and would highly recommend this property!

    We came from a holiday home in Suffolk that definitely wasn't as described very disappointing, dirty, very uncomfortable and breathed a sigh of relief when we reached your house. It is a gem and the garden is also beautiful the best maintained in any home we have used and that is many. We looked to book again next year but missed the boat. See you in 2025 we hope and thank you owners for doing a really fantastic job.

  • "We loved Sunnyside Bungalow."

    It has 2 bedrooms. It was was very clean & tastefully decorated & furnished. Stocked well with equipment/kitchen utensils etc. It has beautifully enclosed gardens to sit in and enjoy your stay. It is also suitable for a dog. It has parking for 3 cars. It is 5 minutes walk away from the main Quay area & Staithe Street with a fantastic variety of shops. We utilised the local shops whilst there & enjoyed the local foods, drinks and Craft goods. Wells Next The Sea is a very quaint place to stay. It has a Port & Quay There is lots to do there & surrounding areas of North Norfolk. I would definately recommend this wonderful holiday bungalow and Wells Next The Sea.

  • "We have stayed at many holiday properties but this has to be the nicest and cleanest one we have ever stayed in."

    This is a credit to the owners, not Sykes. The bungalow was really nicely decorated and furnished, excellent facilities inside and out. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Lovely patio sets outside, with extra seats if needed. The owner made contact early in the day we were arriving, offering parking in the drive if we arrived early. Really nice touch as often there is no contact whatsoever with any owners. We have already booked for 2024! Oh, by the way, Wells is a beautiful little place and only 5min walk to the centre.

  • "Sunnyside is a lovely bungalow with everything you need and 2 immaculate back gardens to relax in."

    The location is perfect - 5 min walk to town/harbour and 45 min walk/5 min drive to the beach. Many nice places to eat in Wells. Lots of lovely places to visit including Holkham, Blakeney and Brancaster. Hosts also really helpful with gas fire when we couldn’t get it to work - response and phone call to talk us through the set up which worked well. We really enjoyed our stay Thank you.

  • "Fabulous property in a superb location, very quiet but close to all local amenities."

    Spotlessly clean and comfortable with a well maintained garden. We chose this property as it had a dedicated parking space and enclosed garden for the dog. Wells is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Lots of beautiful (dog friendly) beaches which stretch on for miles. We visited some lovely pubs (dogs were welcome almost everywhere we went even in some local restaurants). We would have no hesitation recommending Sunnyside to family and friends it’s such a beautiful bungalow.

  • "Sunnyside is a beautiful cottage to stay in and in a great location to get to everything in wells next the sea ."

    The beach is so clean and dog friendly with a great cafe to enjoy a coffee after your walk . The cottage has everything you need to have cozy nights in. A tv in the main bedroom would have been nice and there were no oven gloves but that’s the only negative. I will definitely be booking again for the summer.

    Hi Carol Thank you for your feedback , this is the second time the management company have forgotten to leave oven gloves. They do actually use oven cloths which look like a thick tea towel. However i will remind them again. I think the other thing i could do is leave a spare pair in the kitchen draw. We are spending some time in the bungalow over christmas and will be looking at the option of putting a tv in the bedroom.     Two separate well maintained, fully secure gardens. Modern interior, tastefully decorated. Well fitted kitchen and appliances, comfortable beds, smart TV, Wi-Fi.   • "Super fully modernised bungalow with a great location within easy walking distance to the harbour."

    Very comfortable bedrooms and lounge and well equipped kitchen with easy access to front and rear gardens which both have seating. Wi-fi good and smart TV provided. The off road parking was another great feature, and if you enjoy walking there are several local walks you can do without even moving the car. We would recommend and would certainly make a return visit.

    Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our dog the week before; it would have been ideal for him. Lovely walks on the coastal path and Holkham Hall worth a visit. Decided to come again next year.

  • "I had a lovely stay here and the bungalow is clearly loved by the owners."

    The kitchen has everything you need and thank you for the welcome bits. The two gardens are well kept and delightful. It’s only a few minutes to the shops or the quay . The only downside personally is I found the bed uncomfortable but that is because the mattress is firm and NOT because the mattress is ditched ( there is a huge difference). The place has a lovely ambience, a very peaceful feel in side and I would not hesitate to recommend Sunnyside.

  • "What a lovely property."

    Very well located in Wells to be accessible to shops, quay, beach & pubs. The bungalow is extremely comfortable and the gas fire made the living room extremely cosy on cold/wet afternoons and evenings. The property is well decorated and extremely well equipped. The 2 gardens will be lovely in summer months, and ample parking was really helpful too. Very clean & really cosy.

    Perfect for 2 adults, 2 children and small dog. The furniture and decor was in very condition and the property stayed snug and warm. Garden was secure for the dog and parking was enough for 3 cars. 2 minute walk into Wells and in a quiet area. Highly recommend.

    We’ve stayed in Wells many, many times and never found such a beautiful property! It’s decorated beautifully and they’ve really taken the time to think about what people need from a holiday let! Finding a bed guard waiting for our two year old was amazing and really let us relax at night knowing he wasn’t going to roll off the side of the bed! It’s a beautiful property and I can’t wait to book again!

  • "The cottage was perfect and well presented however, whilst the cleaning company praised themselves in the welcome letter for there attention to detail and quote "very rarely made mistakes" for us they let the owners down!"

    On arrival found food crumbs in the freezer, the toaster was full of crumbs (Fire hazard), dirty and stained oven glass door, crumbs under the sofa cushions and considerable amounts of dirt and dog food both behind and to the side of the fridge freezer! Loved the holiday, loved the cottage and credit to the owners but the cleaning company certainly let them down and demonstrated over confidence in a quiet rudely worded welcome letter in our opinion!

  • "Great location and close to the centre of Wells, especially with regards to accessing the Staithe Street shops - good bakery."

    Good off road parking, easily accommodating 3 cars. We especially like the two gardens, one for morning coffee & breakfast and the other for afternoon tea and evening drinks. The bungalow was well decorated, comfortable and clean. We liked the kitchen diner, which was bright, airy and well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious too. The lounge wasn’t used much as we were out for most of the day and early evening. Nice bathroom with a good shower, to wash off the sand. Would recommend to others.
