  • "This quirky property is in a beautiful location and we mainly cycled and walked through deserted lanes and byways."

Mrs Salisbury was very helpful and accommodating and fixed hot water problems the next day. Have no hesitation recommending it for a family group of six.

  • "Exterior and garden good."

Interior was shabby and dated and very drab apart from the kitchen area. Armchairs very old with loose covers which looked as if they came from several decades ago. Heating still on GMT and "tripped" one evening. Owners didn't seem to have a clue how to remedy situation. Did, however, come to switch immersion heater on for water. The towels supplied were old, thin, rough and not bath towels. A "welcome" tray, with milk, tea/coffee etc would have been good for those like us travelling a long distance. We've had this sort of thing in previous houses. Noise from the racetrack when sitting in the garden very noticeable and spoiled the otherwise lovely ambience.

If you are interested in art the sainsbury center at Norwich university is a must. Rectory cottage it self was a perfect place to stay. Cosy and worm, lots of hot water. There is a pretty little garden with a gas barbaque ,huge TV , lots of books and games for all the family.in the summer mouths there is a lovely swimming pool too.
