  • "The accommodation is lovely, exactly as described in the details."

It was warm and had everything we needed. The owner introduced herself on arrival day so good communication and left a welcome pack to make a drink and biscuits. I would further like to had that this property is suitable for people with limited mobility being all on one level and spacious.

  • "Lovely quiet location."

Access is down a short single track lane but very quiet as we didn't encounter another vehicle during our weeks stay. Barn was spotless, right down to shiny clean cutlery, immaculate fridge/freezer & shiny taps. Spacious & light accommodation. Beds were excellent. Linen & towels excellent quality. Shared courtyard but both properties were well screened. Had a warm welcome from Jane the owner....the only negatives we encountered during our stay were lots of flies ( but a fly swat is provided ), which is just down to it's country location. And the no smoking, which also applied to our outside courtyard seating area. Although it was advertised as a no smoking property, maybe it should also include the fact that there is also no smoking allowed in your garden area. I only mention this as a negative as my elderly Father smokes a pipe & missed sitting outside in the early morning, having a cuppa & a puff of his pipe. That is just personal to our stay & may not affect the majority of other parties staying at the accommodation.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We do experience a few flies at certain times of the year eg extremely hot weather, harvest time - all part and parcel of living in the countryside. I acknowledge your specific comment about no smoking in the courtyard, put in place for the comfort of all guests. However, we would have been pleased to try and sort something out for your father during your stay. Property Owner

Perfect to come home to after a day exploring the villages and coast. It is surrounded by good places to eat out but has everything you need to cook for yourselves. The owner was very kind in letting us use the washer/dryer in another property as ours was waiting for parts to repair it. This was very helpful. We loved the stables and will certainly return .

  • "This cottage was immaculate."

The attention to cleanliness was exceptional. When staying at cottages with beams you expect a few cobwebs high up but there was not even a cobweb in sight. Our little Granddaughter lost one of her toys down the sofa and on removing the cushions to get it we found not even so much as a crumb! Many other cottage owners could learn a lot from the owners of this one! It was in a beautiful, peaceful location. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery and although the photo on the website showed only 2 dining chairs there was 4. Will definitely be booking again in the future.
