  • "We had a really lovely stay and were impressed with the facilities."

We were particularly impressed with the additional touches of some Easter decorations, a bottle of prosecco, some milk and chocolate eggs. All really appreciated. An small issue with the toilet seat was dealt with and was no trouble at all. Thank you.

  • "Warm, clean and comfortable property exactly as described."

Modern and very well equipped, a good base for discovering North Norfolk. Shops, pub with food and takeaways just a couple of minutes walk away. Very close to the stunning Blickling estate which is a National Trust property. Do book if you want to eat at the Black boy pub in town, we struggled to get a table. Only property improvement I could suggest is to have some lamps in the living room, I followed the comments from a previous review and moved the bedside lamps into the living room for nicer evening lighting Parking space a bit tight if you had a large vehicle, but good to have your own designated parking . Overall would highly recommend this property.

  • "A lovely stay, very clean and well equipped."

Liked the proximity to the supermarket, cycle trails, pubs and shops and also easy to make short drives to other attractions like the coast, market towns etc. Lots of storage. Very warm (too warm for us) The things that would improve the property for us would be a bigger bed (for some reason the bed seemed very short and small) the bedroom has more than enough space to put a bigger bed in. The corner sofa in the living room was not that comfortable and difficult to sit on if you want to curl up, 2 two seater sofas would be better with side tables either side as coffee tables in front of sofas just get in the way and make getting your drink fairly awkward. Plus no footstool to put your feet up at the end of the day. We had to put a bedroom lamp in the living room too as the overhead one is too harsh We particularly liked the bike storage this was very helpful and the trails are within walking distance without having to go on any roads to get to them. We would probably return as the area is fantastic and only half hour from Norwich.

Thank you for your review I would just like to reassure you if you did decide to return that the master bed is a standard double. We feel that a king size in that room would be a little cramped. I also do not like ceiling lights so using the bedside lamps is a good idea. When we stay we use the lights under the kitchen wall cabinets to create a subtle glow in the evenings. The sofa in the living room pulls out to a bed so you can put your feet up. And feel free to arrange any furniture to suit your needs. Many thanks Emma Property Owner

  • "The house was lovely, beautifully warm and clean, the photos don't do it justice!"

The only slight thing to say as a small negative is, that although the house sleeps four people, there were only two larger bowls to be found in the cupboard, but apart from that and a couple of light bulbs not working, we loved our stay, and would definitely recommend to friends and family...thank you!

  • "A lovely property in a very good location, clean and comfortable."

Kitchen well equipped and nice to cook in. I like the Chinese style blinds. Beds comfortable and I think an extra blanket would be a good addition now the weather is getting colder. We would definitely recommend and may rebook as close to relative in Reepham. North Norfolk has a lot to offer, we had a great week. Thank you

  • "The property is well maintained, clean and private in a beautiful village."

3 supermarkets to choose from plus 2 butchers. The black boy restaurant food is amazing, you don’t have to eat, you can just have a drink. The Unicorn pub has a great atmosphere and they are just minutes from the property. A bus stop outside of the property takes you to Cromer , sherringham, Norwich. The Bure mini railway which is also over the road from the property takes you to wroxham where there is a marina, plenty of places to eat and a beautiful department store. Alysham is a very good base for everything we wanted to do without taking the car We would highly recommend.

We had high expectations of this property from the description on Sykes website and the property actually exceeded those expectations. The cottage was extremely well equipped, very clean and welcoming. The weather was good while we were there so we made full use of the outside space and the garden furniture. The allocated parking space was a good size and easy to access. I would recommend this cottage.

Nothing was too much bother. The accommodation was immaculate, well-equipped and modern. Brilliantly located just a few mins walk to a large Tesco plus the town square. We’re keen cyclists and the disused railway track just 20metres from the property was perfect for family bike rides!

  • "Frazers Court is a very modern 'cottage' and well appointed with excellent facilities."

The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of storage space for food, including a wine cooler !! The linen & bedding are fresh and everywhere is nice and clean. The location of Frazers Court in Aylsham is excellent for us - Bure Valley Railway, bus stop & Tesco less than two minutes walk. In the town centre there is a Budgens, CoOp, fresh fruit/veg shop, takeaways, pubs and Biddy's Tea Rooms - definitely worth a visit. Norwich and Cromer are only 12 miles away - both easy to get to by car or bus. And if you like walking Blickling Hall is only 1.5 miles away. There was a small problem with the heating which Emma dealt with quickly and professionally. We would definitely visit Frasers Court again for a winter break. Thank you !!

  • "The cottage was really lovely."

It was the little touches that made the difference e.g. some toys left for the children to play with as well as tea/coffee/milk etc. The cottage was also very clean and had clearly been looked after by the owners and previous visitors. The location was brilliant, about 10 miles from Cromer. It was also great that there was a Tesco just round the corner and a lovely pub (the Black Boys) in the centre of town. We will definitely visit again next year.
