Wroxham Cottages

These two beautifully presented, charming terraced cottages are rich in character and have retained a number of period features. They are situated down a quiet lane with everything that Wroxham has to offer close by. The cottages are well equipped with everything you should need and have been renovated to a high standard offering spacious, light and comfortable accommodation which will leave you struggling to escape to explore this excellent area with so much to offer. Both cottages have ample room for one car to be parked at the property with both cottages having a private drive and nearby parking for extra cars within a 2 minute walk from property. The cottages also have a private garden with easy access from the front of the house and secure storage for cycles. There is even a children's play park at the end of the road. The gardens are a real suntrap during summer months. Wroxham is the main centre of the Norfolk broads for boat hire giving you the opportunity to go off exploring the wonderful waterways with an abundance of wildlife and excellent selection of riverside pubs and restaurants along the way. The town itself offers an excellent selection of pubs, eateries and shops for you to enjoy, all within easy walking distance form your cottage. Hop in the car and you can be at some of the wonderful Norfolk beaches within 15 minutes or enjoy the vibrant city of Norwich with its excellent selection of shops and cultural events throughout the year. Both cottages are ideal for friends and families whatever the time of the year.

The cottage

Wroxham Retreat is a beautifully presented two bedroom terraced cottage within easy reach of the centre of Wroxham and offering excellent access to the Broads.

The cottage has a dining room with a beautiful woodburning stove overlooking the front of the property leading through to the comfortable living room which is ideal for relaxing in after a day out exploring.

There are doors to the wonderful enclosed back garden and access to the well-equipped kitchen and additional sun room with doors to the back patio.

The sun room has a day bed, ideal for relaxing with a book or offering flexibility with sleeping arrangements.

Upstairs you have a large master bedroom with a zip/link bed and a smaller double room with a shared bathroom.

The cottage is ideal for couples, friends and families to enjoy this wonderful location whatever the time of year.

Wroxham is commonly known as the “Capital of the Broads” and is the main centre for boating on the Broads. It is home to a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants as well as numerous boating emporia. Wroxham is home to a railway station with trains regularly running to Norwich or the coast, or you can spend a day on the Bure Valley Railway, a narrow gauge steam and diesel service running between the market town of Aylsham and Wroxham. The local area offers a wide choice of places to visit from craft barns and beautiful gardens to National Trust properties and Redwings Horse Sanctuary. Just four miles away is Sprowston Manor Hotel and Country Club with a golf club and spa.
