Really apprecite that there was a box of leaflets about local attractions - and that the owners had taken the trouble to annotate some to mark a walk which was no longer available. Wi-fi worked well. Lots of room in fridge-freezer. Top location, short walk to utterly charming Wymondham village centre, nice Bistro literally within 15seconds walk, Co-op and Morrisons within walkable distance. Well located for visiting Norwich and the Broads. Would defo stay again. Only tiny heads up is that one needs to be quite assertive to engage the bathroom lock.

The property

Perfectly located next to the historic train station and café on the edge of the popular market town of Wymondham, this beautifully-presented, Grade II listed traditional flint cottage is ideal for people wanting to explore Norfolk by road or rail!

Step in to the lovely, light living room, ideal to relax in after a day out exploring.

The sitting room has many character features along with the benefit of a sofa bed and it leads through to the dining room with a woodburner and in to the kitchen which opens out to the lovely cottage-style back garden.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the master room looks to the back of the property and there is a single room to the front.

Both bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Wymondham is an historic market town which still hosts a popular market on a Friday and has an excellent selection of independent shops as well as some excellent pubs and restaurants.

A day trip to the beautiful cathedral city of Norwich is a must on the train.

The city has excellent shopping, eateries and events on throughout the year and, if you want to really step back in time, hop on a steam train to Dereham.

The area offers some excellent cycling routes and some lovely walks, an ideal cottage for friends and families to enjoy whatever the time of year.
