  • "This was our 3rd visit to Cwm Heulog& sure it won't be our last."

Great location for the many delights of N Wales. The bungalow itself is very spacious, clean, warm& well equipped with gorgeous views over the valley, with added advantage of only being a 10minute drive to the coast. Owners live just a little further along the drive & are helpful but unobtrusive. Gill & Mike. March 24

It is absolutely lovely. Quite location, spacious, well equipped, clean, stunning views and lovely owners who are there if needed but not in your face which is a great bonus. My one tiny complaint is the small double beds, although comfortable king size would be perfect in my view

Whilst there was a dvd player, there didn't seem to be any dvds...we have stayed at other cottages and there has been a small selection of dvds which is helpful. WiFi was good. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The cottage is well placed for exploring North Wales. The location is lovely and quiet on a farm. There wasn't a lot of information on staying at the cottage, for instance details on recycling, or how to use cooker...we did figure these things out but some written information on the basics would help. The double bedrooms could use a vanity mirror, I'm quite petite and I couldn't see in the bathroom mirrors as they were small and quite high up, a mirror would be useful for drying hair etc. The cottage is very spacious and with lovely views. We did enjoy our stay and would return if we wanted to visit this area again.

Megan and her family were really friendly and helpful, showing the children the farm and animals and explaining how they farmed. The location was great for Snowdonia and the beaches of Colwyn bay an Llandudno. Would certainly look to go back again.

The house is comfortable, spacious and warm, and the sun room is a real bonus. The main road down to the village is busy and has no path, but you can walk through the fields instead, along the river. Although the location is rural, it's very handy for Abergele, and access to the rest of the North Wales coast. The best of both worlds. Just one small thing that someone else also mentioned, a visitors' guide would be useful. We'd definitely stay there again.

Its in a stunning location, and has everything you could need for your holiday. We spent a lot of time in the sun room, which even in chilly January was lovely and warm (even for my 80yr old mother in law) and the views are specatcular. The fresh farm eggs and milk from the owners at the farm next door was a lovely touch, and Megan was very welcoming when we arrived and then left us to have our holiday without interruption. Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, but actually you're less than 10mins drive from the North Wales coast and all its facilities so an ideal location.
