  • "A lovely lidge overlooking the campsite which is just over the fence."

When you look across the site, you are greeted a a stunning view of fields and sea. We came here for 3 days with two other family members to celebrate a big birthday and a big anniversary. We were not disappointed in the slighted. The photos on the website are a true reflection of the lodge and facilities. It's around a 20 minute walk into Abersoch along a winding courtyard road, so be careful. We are thinking of booking again for the same weekend next year.

Beautiful Lodge, very spacious, immaculately clean, all accessories provided, towels and bedding included for your stay, large spacious furnished decking outside with barbecue and outstanding views

  • "Arrived and was clean and all ready for us which was amazing but it is literally a lodge in someone's front garden."

I feel this should be stated in the listing aswell as where the pictures show the park and it looks accessible easily for the children it isn't. You have to walk out onto the road and round into the campsite. The lodge being situated where it is made us feel quite uncomfortable. Some may be ok with this but to us felt like someone had plonked a lodge in the garden.

The hot water when having a shower was hit and miss it took a while to come hot .

  • "Absolutely amazing stay as always."

Beautiful chalet with everything you could possibly need and with amazing views to wake up to every morning. We don't want to go home. The chalet is so very clean and comfortable. It's got such a lovely feel about it, just like home from home. Thank you for a fantastic stay, we'll be back again soon.

  • "Lovely lodge just off the Tyn Y Mur caravan site."

The snack shack food was amazing. Only a few negatives- the sofa's need upgrading as not very comfortable and cleaning could have been a little better - lots of hairs on furniture and in bathroom, a couple of sweets down side of childs bed and a few chocolates under sofa which the dog managed find. Location great but we personally drove into Abersoch everyday as the road down had no pathway and lots of bends. Not safe with 3 children and a dog. Location: 5 min drive to Abersoch, 20 min walk

  • "Lovely lodge, beautiful views."

Furnishings were all great. My daughter and I stayed 3 nights and really loved our lodge. A walk in shower would have been better for me but I managed.

Beds very comfortable Wifi very poor and no Netflix. Rakatuen Tv just kept buffering Settee not comfortable and lounge would not seat six people Curtains needed all round, reflection on TV and privacy if light on Recommend for quiet get away. Walking and water sports Not a lot to do otherwise unless you travel an hour to other destinations

Would highly recommend. The location is lovely and quiet and has wonderful views. The lodge was clean, tidy and very well stocked with everything needed for a self-catering holiday. The beds were extremely comfortable with plenty of towels. Thanks for making our stay so relaxing.

  • "The cabin is very clean and well maintained and has everything you need for a self catering holiday."

TV is much improved from our previous stay and the outside area is clean and the cabin is in a lovely position. If I could make one suggestion it would be to change the 3 piece suite for something a little more comfortable, other than that a lovely holiday accommodation.

  • "Beautiful lodge, spectacular views."

Comfortable and homely.Only niggle was the heating .Described as central heating but turned out to be electric storage which worked from a timer. Once we had mastered it all was fine . Good communication with owner and on-site contact , would definitely stay again

  • "With this property being off the main site, maybe adding the location precisely using the app "what three words" would be very helpful when trying to locate the property in the dark."

Some of the lights bulbs could do with replacing as they don't work, both internally and externally. Additionally, the wi-fi was rather intermittent making communication difficult sometimes.

  • "This is a lovely Chalet in a fantastic location with view of the sea at the Mouth and also Cilan Headland."

It is also located above the camp site with its own private entrance and good parking. The Chalet itself is beautiful inside with excellent facilities including a good supply of towels and catering essentials so often restricted in many rental properties, All in all a great place to stay. I can imagine it is great ,especialy during the summer, when you are able to make use of the terrace and barbecue.

  • "Superb lodge!"

Great location. Beautiful view from the decking. EVERYTHING you could need is supplied! Bbq , utensils, cleaning products, blankets, extra pillows… Really comfy couches to relax on. Tv, Netflix. Great host and managers checking everything we needed was there. Abersoch itself was great… but make sure you book restaurants well in advance if you want to eat out! Even the chippy had huge queues each night. The surf shack on-site served great food! Super little park for the children to enjoy on-site too. THANK YOU!

Also nearby is the beautiful manor house Plas yn Rhiw with stunning views across the coast and the Grade II listed art and culture centre of Plas Glyn y Weddw open for exhibitions with an amazing garden setting.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
