    We felt the flat could do with substantial renovation including decor and new carpets. We were unable to open the windows in one of the twin bedrooms as they were screwed down due to rotting window frames.

  • "The house worked for us really well."

    The living space was spacious and the sofas were so comfy and roomy for all of us. Location could not have been more perfect, close enough to the centre but not close enough to lose the peace provided my Halfryns gardens. The private access to the beach was ideal with having a young family and we loved having the use of the beach hut. The beach was stunning and we were very lucky with our weather for the whole week. I would highly recommend both Sykes and Halfryn, everything went very smoothly.

  • "The Dovecote is a great little unit within a larger grand property."

    The location is faultless and hard to beat. The gardens are fabulous and the direct private access to the beach was a really nice feature of the property. We booked extremely late, 28th December to arrive the following day and stay over New Year. As such we got a great price, but credit to the owners in being able to accommodate at such short notice.

  • "We had a lovely week."

    Lovely very comfortable property, with amazing sea views. The property is really well laid out and is perfect for the few cosy nights in we had (warm / nice big TV / dining table etc). Outside the property is part of and has access to the amazing Haulfryn House gardens, we had some great games of hide and seek with my 2 year old daughter in the gardens! There is also great access to the beach with a short walk through the gardens. Also on the plus side the property is located in a central location very close to Abersoch's shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs...a 2minute walk away along the properties drive!

Haulfryn House Apartments

Two comfortable seaside apartments set in an excellent position in Abersoch, with access to a private path leading directly down to the sea at stunning Abersoch Main Beach. Each with their own private entry, these homely apartments form part of a beautiful Grade II listed stone house, which sits amongst three acres of sub-tropical Italianate gardens with terraces of exotic palm trees, eucalyptus, mimosa and rose gardens. The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
