  • "Heating was great, not set on a timer so you could set it to the temperature you are comfortable with."

I requested a hoover and the owner delivered it the same day. Recommendations: Curtains in the bedrooms, as the blinds do let quite a lot of light in. (Not a problem during darker months obviously). A whisk, measuring jug and a potato masher would be great but I know most people eat out. Both double beds had soft mattresses, again this is personal preference. Unusual not to have pillow and mattress protectors. Garden area up the steps was great, as the dog enjoyed a sniff. Lovely view across the valley. Overall nice house with great potential.

  • "Loved the cottage on the whole."

A couple of things: - the selection of crockery / cooking vessels is inadequate. One small saucepan and two huge ones isn’t helpful and the selections of plates / bowls was strange (tiny cheap bowls or enormous ones, no side plates at all, only 7 knives) and not in keeping with the rest of the cottage facilities. Wouldn’t be hard to fix and would make a difference. Good mugs though! - there was dog poo left by the previous occupants which we had to pick up. - we received a phone call on the way home about the whereabouts of a blanket which wasn’t at the cottage for any of our stay. We didn’t feel believed and were left feeling that the cleaner believed we stole it. Left a nasty taste for us. We can’t prove something wasn’t there but we definitely didn’t take anything that wasn’t ours. All that aside, the cottage was warm, spacious, comfortable and well located. We would stay again and recommend it to others. The EV charger is a great asset. Thank you for our stay.

Hi Jenni. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide this feedback and I'm so sorry that the conversation regarding the blanket left a negative feeling. I had removed that blanket shortly before your stay and did not tell the cleaner - so a mistake on my part that won't be repeated. All your other feedback is valid, I'll be sure to order some crockery and extra knives :). Thanks again for the review and glad that you enjoyed your stay! Liz Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely holiday break."

Could there possibly be a microwave maybe on a bracket. and a few more utilities .The bathroom shower does need the filter changing as the water was not emptying as it should. If we had the chance we would use this property again.

Thank you for your stay and useful feedback. We have unblocked the shower and it's draining normally now. We have also had other people ask for a microwave so we are considering how we can fit one in (the kitchen is too small for it but perhaps it could go in the dining area). Thanks again and glad you had a nice stay! Liz Property Owner

  • "It would be useful to have a door mat in the porch."

Also to have hooks behind the en suite door. These comments already shared with the owner who was quick to respond. Lovely cottage which was spotless.

Hi there, sorry for the delay in responding to this review, and thanks for taking the time to write it. Your suggestions were very useful and we now have a new doormat (I am not sure where the other one went) and we added hooks to the door in the ensuite. Thanks again for the suggestions! • "Overall very nice property."

It was bigger than expected. The open living and dining area is spacious and nice. Having the loft bedroom was perfect for our two children. Nice bathrooms and the shower was very refreshing which is important after a day walking. The enclosed garden worked well for our dog as we could let her off lead with confidence she would not escape anywhere. Really suggest a microwave is bought and installed as a facility for easier cooking. There is space for this. Also suggest a few more towels for extra comfort. Peeler for cooking potatoes and carrots could also be added and finally suggest adding spare toilet rolls . Doesn’t cost much but leaves good impression. Overall though it was a nice stay and helped make a memorable family holiday.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and sorry for the delay in responding. Regarding the microwave, yes we are trying to reconfigure the kitchen to fit this in, as other guests have asked for it too. We've also passed on your feedback regarding the towels and toilet roll. And finally, we do now have a potato peeler! Thanks again for your feedback and your stay. Kind regards, Liz Property Owner

  • "This place is a great find."

You can tell the cottage has been recently renovated. The views of the countryside from the front room and bedrooms are stunning. The village has great amenities and is well located for walking and all the activities in Snowdonia. We spent a week here in the Easter holidays with a party of 6, there was plenty of room. There's a lovely new kitchen and it was great to have two showers. Really handy to have the EV charger at the house rather than having to find a public one. We can’t wait to come back and stay again soon :)

Really happy to hear that you enjoyed it Daniel. We really appreciate the kind feedback, thank you. Yes please do come back again. Liz Property Owner

  • "Excellent accommodation."

Comfortably warm despite extremely cold weather. We brought our own toaster to supplement kitchen equipment so perhaps this is an item that could be added to save using the grill. Also a shelf would supplement the limited storage available in the kitchen. Helen responded immediately to our request for silicone sealant in the main bathroom shower after we noticed a small damp patch on the living room ceiling. Thanks for providing a great place to stay. Best regards, Mike Bertenshaw

Many thanks for your feedback Mike. We're really glad you enjoyed your stay - and found it warm! The cottage is a new listing so these suggestions are really helpful - that's a good idea about adding some more storage. There was a toaster in the cupboard but we'll make sure it's left out for future guests. You're welcome again any time. Liz Property Owner
