  • "We have just returned from a week long stay at The Cart House."

The cottage has everything you need and the setting is wonderful. The courtyard is a great sun trap and secluded, and we thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi. The location is very central for great days out. We had a truly 5 star time and hope to be back in the near future. My thanks to Robert and Julie who made our stay just perfect!

  • "We had a fantastic short break in the Cart House and would definitely recommend it."

The cottage itself is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. We really appreciated a number of things, like how easy it was to regulate the temperature of the rooms, how well equipped the kitchen was, and how comfy the bed was. Often at least one of these things is a let down, but they were all great. The hot tub is amazing - especially on a clear night with amazing views of the stars. The owner and manager are really friendly, and the whole site has a very relaxed feel. The location was excellent for access Shrewsbury and areas we like to hike in like the Long Mynd. We'll definitely come back!

  • "Spent a week in the Cart House and loved every minute of it."

The staff were all really friendly and the facilities brilliant. The Cart House itself was a perfect way to find peace and tranquility in complete privacy. The hot tub was well used and gave you a lovely afterglow. We even gained a dog for quite a lot of the week and will miss Millie. We would certainly recommend a visit to the Saffron House Indian restaurant and also the Hand and Diamond pub - the food was fabulous in both. We will certainly be returning for more - thank you.
