"Fantastic property and private garden."
Very comfortable sofa and bed. You would not know this is a dog friendly cottage, so do not let this put you off booking. Short walk into town centre, with a great choice of restaurants. The walk will become shorter once the Sappers Bridge soon reopens.

"Lovely well-appointed accommodation."
The boot room was very useful, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Well located for different walks in the area and to the main village. Really enjoyed our time at Beaver Grove Cottage. Thank you!

"Beaver Grove cottage was wonderful, set in lovely surroundings, a small field to the side with sheep and lambs in, and a river running past, stunning and peaceful."
The cottage had all you could need , it was beautifully furnished, warm, clean and when we did come across an issue the response from the owner was prompt and immediately the issue was resolved. It is about a 15 min walk to the centre of Bewts -Y-Coed with its small shops and hotels, and a garage for fuel is less than a couple of minutes away. We would definitely go again.

"A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting."
We really enjoyed being able to walk straight from the cottage and explore Betws y coed and go on long walks.
The cottage had everything we needed and was even nicer than it looked from the photos.

"Beaver Grove was comfortable and quiet, the main road is close but not busy, you can't hear the traffic as the cottage is down in a dip."
There are 2 entrances, the closer one to the T junction is the better access best to enter in the LLanrwst direction. Great for well behaved dogs, there is an arboretum with well established trees. The River is close by with streams in the grounds. Its a great base for walkers! Beaver Grove was clean, warm and had everthing you need for a relaxing break. Highly recommended.

It is beautiful set in its own privet grounds perfect if you have a dog
very quiet and no noise from any thing only the flowing river and sheep

and yet so close to the village only 5 minutes walk across the bridge
we love this place it is beautiful and peaceful
the log fire ( optional as their is full central heating ) glows up the lounge
the lovely stable door in the kitchen allows you to bring the outside into the kitchen
and the wildlife is wonderful to see

"Lovely cottage, big and with everything you need."
The cottage has a fridge freezer but the listing said fridge only so we did have to raise this in advance to check the position (the large supermarkets are about 30 mins away) . The pub that is close by is not dog friendly and the foot bridge over the river is closed so be prepared for a 20 min walk around in to the village for food/drinks. We were a little surprised to see no welcome pack, this didn’t spoil the holiday (obviously) but when you have 4-5 cottage breaks a year it really stood out. The only other point to mention is the bed, which is very, very firm. By the end of the week our backs and joints were a little sore and we were ready for home. Beautiful area to visit and lovely village

"Lovely cottage."
Perfect for us and our 2 dogs. Perfectly positioned for the village amenities. Great boot room for the dogs. Dog owners need to be aware that the cottage doesn't have it's own secure garden but the grounds are beautiful and away from the rd which is great. The Waterloo hotel across the river has a secure field for dogs with access to the river which was very convenient for us. The cottage has everything required for a very comfortable stay.

"A beautiful little cottage set in it's own grounds next to the manor house."
Really lovely and peaceful, plenty of parking space and beautiful gardens. The boot room was great for keeping our muddy boots and rucksacks and the kitchen was well equipped, although we ate out every evening as it was so easy to walk into Betws-y-Coed - just a 15 minute stroll. The cottage was clean and comfortable and Jon was extremely helpful when we needed to contact him regarding a small issue (missing tea towels!!) We would definitely book again.

"What a wonderful cottage, tucked away from the road and the village, with the sound of the river."
It was quiet and relaxing and exactly what we needed. The "boot room" entrance area was great for keeping all our walking gear. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the main bedroom was a great size for a week's holiday with plenty of storage space. The whole place was clean and well set up for our arrival.
The only areas that need improving are some additional comfort features - some throws in the lounge and some cushions and additional blankets for the bedroom - we had to take a duvet off one of the spare beds as we found it suddenly got a lot colder during our stay.

"Beaver Grove is a lovely house set in very special grounds with mature specimen trees."
It would have been lovely to have been provided with more information about the trees and gardens. The only thing the house lacked was some soft furnishings and books etc. to give it more of a homely feel. I could not fault the cleanliness of the property when we arrived. It was a great base for exploring the surrounding area and I would definitely recommend to others.

"Came last year and loved it so rebooked for this year."
Was really disappointed when we arrived as it didn’t look like it had actually been cleaned from the previous families stay. The kitchen was very dirty, I had to clean the kitchen including some of the internal cupboards.
One of the blinds in master bedroom didn’t work. The master bed mattress was so hard and uncomfortable. Such a shame as the cottage itself is beautiful and the setting stunning. Just such a shame it was dirty.
Not sure if we will return.

"We had a lovely time at Beaver Grove Cottage."
The accommodation was clean and offered everything we needed for a great outdoors holiday. Had the weather been better we would have enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden overlooking the river with a coffee or a glass of wine. As it was colder we took advantage of the fire. Nike store was very helpful and the location was perfect for accessing the multitude of local attractions. I can see us coming again - it was lovely.

"We have really enjoyed the stay, it was lovely place for a family Christmas with a fireplace and big table in the kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need."
Beds were comfortable. Owners put the Christmas tree for us which was lovely gesture. The only recommendation we would have it’s to put some lights on the drive on the entrance to the property as it’s very dark. We used torches when walking at evening. Overall nice place and we would recommend for bookings.

The only issue was with the arial/reception quality for the TV. It was a little hit and miss when on standard channels (only) but there were no issues when on Netflix etc.
