    .walks directly from the door ... Owners live directly opposite in the farm house .. Very friendly couple just leave you to get on with your stay,but there if you need them .. Cosy well equipped cottage, very old building... my only issue was the musty smell in the cottage ... this did not stop us enjoying ourselves ..

    The cottage is in a beautiful setting & was clean & comfortable. There was everything we needed to make our stay relaxing & enjoyable. The cream tea laid out for us was a lovely surprise. Shops & eateries were only a few minutes away & there were plenty of nice walks. Lots of local places to visit without too much driving. We will certainly recommend Royal Oak Farm Cottage to our friends & family. We are hoping to go back again next year.

    Due to Covid, we had to prepare dinner at the cottage on a few evenings. There was a great fridge freezer, clean cooker and a microwave - perfect. The cottage is situated very close to the centre of the village and Kathy, the owner was very friendly and welcoming.

    Very tidy and equipped with everything you need e.g microwave, fridge, hairdryer etc. A very comfortable bed and a good shower too. Kathy (host) welcomed me and showed me around and left me a lovely cream tea, which was very much appreciated after my long journey. Easy drive to Yr Wyddfa and within close proximity of many, many great walks with scenery to take your breath away. I cannot recommend this place enough. I had a great stay! Perfect cottage, perfect location....

We were greeted by the owners who are both so friendly and helpful and were welcomed with a beautiful cream tea and fresh home cooked scones. So many beautiful walks and near to many attractions.     Cottage was homely and cosy. We appreciated the gesture of fresh milk, cream jam and scones waiting for us. Neat and compact, the surroundings were spectacular and gorgeous, with the Christmas lights sparkling around the village. We were both so chilled after 3 nights at the cottage, it felt like had spent a week there! Definitely would stay again!

Llanrwst 4 miles; Blaenau Ffestiniog 11 miles.

Betws-y-Coed, known as the Gateway to Snowdonia, is North Wales' most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. Most famous of all are the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm.
