“It would be good to check that fridge has been left on as 3 days in I realised this had not been case and had to throw away food items.”

A small row of hooks inside entrance door would be most useful for coats. Larger and better quality of mugs in the kitchen would really improve the coffee experience for a coffee addict like myself. Better explanation of how recycling should be sorted is also needed. In general though it's a lovely little cottage with a secure garden - perfect for the dogs.

The property

A delightful, mid-terrace, stone-built Llan Ffestiniog cottage, lovingly restored and well maintained, in this quiet village.

There is a large king-size bedroom in this Llan Ffestiniog cottage, as well as a small double bedroom.

Downstairs, the sitting room benefits from underfloor heating and a woodburner set in an inglenook fireplace, with exposed beams and exposed stone chimney breast adding to the character of this Llan Ffestiniog cottage.

The small kitchen is basic but well equipped and will provide everything you need for a fantastic break at this Llan Ffestiniog cottage.

There is a good sized, well-kept mature garden with lawns and three seating areas, where you can sit and enjoy the views across the countryside whilst relaxing after a long country walk on the Manod Mawr mountain.

The popular town of Blaenau Ffestiniog is just 3 miles away, famed for its slate quarry and narrow gauge steam railway, which links it with the seaside town of Porthmadog, 13.5 miles away, with its superb Blue Flag beach at Black Rock Sands.

The attractions of Betws-y-Coed, Portmeirion and Bodnant Gardens, and the castles of Caernarfon and Harlech are all within easy reach.
