The house is spacious, spotless and is very well equipped. There is a large and well-fenced garden which is ideal for dogs (and sitting in the sun!). The owners, Sue and Steve, made every effort to welcome us and made our stay perfect. Highly recommended!

). Good location within walking distance of the coast (lots of steps to get down to it!). Clean, spacious and comfortable, and a great lawn for the children to play on. Our youngest child enjoyed saying hello to the cows over the garden fence.

Sue and Steve the property owners live nearby and were so helpful lovely people. We will certainly return. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

  • "The cottage was lovely, even bigger than the photos."

It was so clean and had everything we needed. The garden is big and has great views, loved being surrounded by cows and sheep our 1 year old loved looking at them from all the windows. The cottage is in a perfect location, 5 mins drive to Aberdaron and just 20 min drive to Abersoch, Llanbedrog, Whistling Sands, Penllech Beach and lots more places. Some nice walks straight from the cottage too. We would love to go back!

  • "Excellent! Clean and spacious with large private garden overlooking countryside."

We will book again. Sue and Steve live next door in their own detached property so you still have your privacy but they are available to answer any questions you may have. The large garden is private and our little dog could run and play ball in safety. Porth Isgo is in walking distance but a lot of steps to go down and up from the beach. Good exercise though. Lol Aberdaron Beach is an easy 15 minute drive away with a large car park next to the long sandy beach.( at low tide) I would suggest you check the tide table for low and hide tide. The cottage is very clean and comfortable with a long driveway so you are away from the road. It was great to just listen to the wild life. We are looking for available dates to go again next year.

  • "Absolutely fabulous!"

Perfect, little, dog friendly beach just a pretty 10 minute walk from the house. We had great weather for most of the fortnight and the beach was never crowded at all. Plenty of room to socially distance. Rock pooling, shallow for quite a long way out and felt comfortable with our teenagers jumping off the ‘big’ rock at high tide. There are lovely walks which are perfect for dogs. We did our ‘big’ at the good sized Lidl and Asda about a 15 min drive away and topped up from the Spar in Aberdaron. Sue and Steve also helped us find a fishery about 30 minutes away where the kids could fish (all equipment provided) with a lovely tea room. Great for kids of all ages and socially distancing is easy. The house has spectacular views from every window, incredibly quiet (no traffic or any other man made noises). Perfect clear nights with no light pollution meant we saw a fantastic meteor shower. Tyh Rhos itself is a lovely house and very private being 200m from the main road. Everything felt very clean. Steve and Sue are superb hosts and very thoughtful. We felt very comfortable that they had been meticulous about implementing Covid-19 guidance. The house is well equipped with a tall freezer and separate fridge. The pots, pans, crockery and utensils all felt new and are all matching (not a mish mash of equipment that you can get in some self catering rentals). The brand new cooker was lovely to use. Plenty of room for us, our three teenagers and two dogs. Big, well kept garden was great for the boys to play football in and we befriended the cows in the neighbouring field. Would thoroughly recommend Tyn Rhos and would like to thank Sue and Steve for making our stay so relaxing.

  • "What a wonderful holiday, despite Storm Dennis!"

Such a lovely home from home with lots of added comforts. The log burner was such a treat on the blustery evenings and Sues homemade bunny bread was amazing!! Both Steve and Sue were lovely neighbours and nothing was ever to much trouble. This was our first holiday away with our 7 week old baby & our 2 year old toddler and what a lovely relaxed week we had. Our little boy loved seeing the sheep from his bedroom window and also exploring the tracks down to the beach, which is in walking distance from the cottage. We were all sad to have to come home and we will be looking to visit again in the very near future. Highly recommended this holiday home. Thank you again to Steve and Sue for making us feel so welcome.

Directions to the cottage where easily followed. The owners Sue and Steve where welcoming and very friendly. They made themselves easily available when needed. The cottage was large and spotless. It contained everything and more than was needed. The garden was very large, private, not overlooked, with stunning views. Fantastic for our dogs. We will definitely be returning and have already recommended to our family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful week and the home baked goods.

  • "The cottage was spacious, lovely and spotless."

Lots of little touches which made a big difference, including a good charge of wood and coal for the wood burner, enough to last a week with more available for a small charge. The location is superb - near Hells Mouth beach and Aberdaron beach. The lovely hosts Stephen and Sue are very helpful and on hand if needed, and very sensitive to the needs of the guests.
