The property

Situated in the wonderful village of Abersoch is this fabulous, detached house, Min Y Nant.

Savouring sea views from the front of the property and just a stone’s throw away from the village’s high street, Min Y Nant is the perfect base for a family of six’s getaway to the coast.

You will be welcomed by three parking spaces on arrival, before venturing inside to your home-from-home.

The spacious open-plan living area has been decorated to a fabulous standard; you will especially notice this in the sitting area, a space housing stylish furnishing, including a large corner sofa, as well as a TV boasting Sky Plus and a sought-after woodburning stove.

Progress through the room to find a contemporary kitchen that contains all you need for your self-catering stay, along with some fantastic extras, from a wine chiller to a washing machine; the kitchen also comes with a breakfast bar that makes for a great socialising spot.

When the chef of the group has rustled up a delectable dinner, enjoy it at the nearby dining table, where you can crack open a bottle of bubbly and make a toast to this amazing break.

As the day comes to an end, you can find two well-appointed bedrooms on the ground-floor, a king-size and a twin; climb the stairs to find the master bedroom, where you can rest your head in a super-king-size and enjoy access to built-in storage, along with an en-suite shower room.

The other bedrooms benefit from sharing a stunning bathroom, where you can enjoy a luxurious soak in the bath or a refreshing rinse in the curved, glass shower; there is also a cloakroom, for added convenience.

The back garden is a great spot, providing you with ample seating spaces to dine alfresco or simply relax in the sun; the garden also includes a stone-built barbecue, along with an enclosed lawn where your furry friend can run free.

For things to do while at the dwelling, travel a short distance into the heart of Abersoch where you can visit two spectacular beaches that are home to a Sailing Club, Yacht Club and Sailing School; after making the most of the sun and sand, why not play a spot of golf at the nearby club or enjoy a delicious meal at the highly rated Zinc Café Bar & Grill?

An excellent outing awaits in Llanbedrog, where walking fans will be pleased with the access to its hiking area and its panoramic sea views, before continuing to the centre of the village to find the extensive Llanbedrog Beach, as well as its fabulous beachside restaurant, Aqua.

Be sure to take your holiday further and venture further afield to Uwchmynydd, where you will find walks stretching over Mynydd Mawr, that take you through a birdwatching area and Arfordir Treftadaeth Penrhyn Llŷn; after walking along the headland, make your way to the nearby Aberdaron to reward yourself with a spot of sunbathing on the village’s beach.

The Llŷn Peninsula is home to so much more for you to see, be sure to walk the Llŷn Coastal Path to discover the delightful settlements nestled along its shores, including Trefor, Pwllheli and Criccieth, to name a few.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
